Wyandotte used to, at least, be a decent community hospital. Now, it might as well be in the…read moreghetto of Detroit. The lack of privacy for incoming patients is absolutely astounding. Thankfully I wasn't there for anything sensitive but had I been I would have been mortified and angry. There is absolutely no excuse for the way they treat patients in this ER. The nurses are cruel and outright bitchy for no reason (not every pt is faking it, a drug addict, or whatever reason these nurses feel gives them a reason to have an attitude with every patient). In my examine room there was blood splattered on the floor from a previous patient. Significant biohazard if you ask me. They have pts lined up in chairs in the hallway like cattle again with absolutely no privacy and everyone discussing their health out in the open with no regards to privacy. The ER Dr in my case was absolutely great and is the only nice thing I have to say about my experience. I was admitted and no privacy there either because they have a camera over your bed. Whoever thought that was a good idea....wait until you're laid up in a hospital bed!

Everywhere you go for reviews they are all under 2 average wether they have 1 review or hundreds. Beaumont hospital is only a few minutes down Fort Street and could make a lifetime difference in your health.
