The entire store is run by a family who are always there and keep the place much nicer than any other gas station i've ever seen, and they treat the customers with respect, having been in this business for many years. I love going here, and I can't help but start a conversation with the managers every time I step into the place, and they don't seem to care at all. The district and regional managers don't care about this store and neither does the corporate office and it shows. This past year this store has closed multiple times due to staffing. I have seen managers work 16 hour shifts to cover a call off or due to not having enough staff. A good district or regional manager would step up and help cover to keep the doors open for their valued customers. The MAPCO app needs help as well due to it not working and their customers not being able to redeem their points on gas or other items. Maybe if they paid better their employees would show up for work or they would have people wanting to work their. Every other gas station is open in the area and has no problem keeping their doors open. There also have been multiple times I have stopped by at 6 am and they haven't even had fresh coffee made for the morning rush. Most of the people that stop by in the morning are headed to the factories out in the river. Looks like I'll be stopping at the new Raceway where their doors are always open and everything is always stocked.
