Took our 4 and 6 year old grandsons to Yesterland today (as we have done for the past three years…read more)and I can honestly say it was our best experience yet ! They were finally tall enough to ride everything and they didn't leave anything out . Literally every staff member we encountered seemed genuinely pleased to be there and made our boys feel special . We booked our tickets online and felt like the value far exceeded anything we've experienced in DFW. Lines were short, restrooms were clean and plenty of handwashing stations. I would highly recommend driving the hour it takes from DFW to experience this nostalgic place .

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Yesterland Farm - October 24…read more I have visited Yesterland Farm in Canton before and had a wonderful experience, which makes yesterday's visit even more disappointing. Yesterland Farm advertises that they control ticket sales to ensure the crowds remain manageable and guests can enjoy the park. Unfortunately, that was absolutely NOT our experience. The park was so overcrowded that nearly every activity had a wait of 30 minutes or longer. And I'm not talking about a few popular attractions--there was a ridiculous line for EVERYTHING. Even getting refreshments was nearly impossible because the lines were so long. The animals available for feeding had clearly been fed so much throughout the day that they weren't even interested in eating anymore. We specifically purchased VIP tickets in hopes of avoiding some of these issues, especially since shorter waits are part of how the VIP experience is advertised. What a complete waste of money. There was absolutely no noticeable distinction between VIP and regular ticket holders when waiting in lines, and no meaningful advantage that we experienced. We spent FOUR HOURS at the farm and managed to do only FOUR activities. We couldn't even use all the VIP punches we had paid for because we simply weren't willing to stand in yet another line for an hour. We ended up giving the remaining punches away. Another thing I found frustrating was the lack of age restrictions on certain activities. Some attractions, like pony rides, should really prioritize children. When families are already waiting excessive amounts of time, watching adults participate in activities clearly geared toward young children only adds to the frustration. I understand that weekends in October are going to be busy, and I fully expected some waiting. However, there is a huge difference between a busy fall attraction and a park that feels so overcrowded that guests can't reasonably enjoy what they've paid for. My advice to families considering visiting on a weekend: BEWARE. If you're bringing young children, prepare for long lines, very few completed activities, and potentially disappointed kids. It's especially frustrating because I know from previous visits how enjoyable Yesterland Farm can be. Unfortunately, this experience felt like selling as many tickets as possible took priority over the actual guest experience. Yesterland Farm needs to seriously reconsider its crowd management and the value it advertises with its VIP tickets. Families are spending a significant amount of money to make memories with their children, not to spend four hours standing in lines.

YesterLand Farm - I tried to pin these nails down and cover them as children walk inside unsupervised because the houses are small and adults can't fit.
