I'm just floored by the food service and ambiance here at the local Bello's Deli. Can't wait to share this gem with my family and friends

The name of this butcher shop is definitely appropriate, because what you get here are "quality…read moremeats." Their selection of Polish and Italian sausages is impressive and people flock there to buy them. We just had New York strip steaks from Urbaniak's for dinner and they were the best. We stop in there specifically to buy their Maryland crab cakes, which are the tastiest pre-made crab cakes we've ever had. Prices are very reasonable too. Erie is lucky to have such a quality butcher shop where everything is fresh.

OK this is seriously the best butcher shop I have ever had locally. Everything is made and prepared…read moreIN HOUSE and FRESH. The smoked chicken breast is absolutely delicious and the perfect meat for a cracker. Their smoked salmon is legit and I saw that as a native of Seattle who is VERY pick about his salmon. And their deli emats00well, if you associated delis with processed meats as I do--forget about it. These deli meats are truly slices fresh meats. Beyond fresh and local being a better choice to support your local community, it is also VASTLY healthier because it is not packed with sodium nd preservatives. So if you prefer a lower sodium diet like me, you can actually have deli meat again! (Try the ox tail--delicious tender and lightly salted but don't forget the free Au jus if you are a big salt fan). Prices: shocking, I would have to say on par or in the case of some of their cheeses BETTER priced than the grocery stores. So not, high quality and healthier options do not have to mean higher prices. OK, So the meats are delicious, the products are locally made and fresh and the prices are good. So what is the catch? Does the Service suck? No, not it does not. I have always received friendly service and timely. If you come in the morning, it can get very busy so remember to grab a number and try not to be rude or demanding. They are kind and courteous but no one likes a noisy jack ass. Overall, from my personal perspective, if you are buying meats for the grill, for your sandwiches or just as a tasty snack, you cannot go wrong with Urbaniaks.

I haven't eaten at Dee's as regularly as I used to, and when I went back today I was really happy…read moreto find out that the food is just as good and the service just as fast. Plus, you get a LOT of food for an extremely reasonable price. I used to get wraps a lot, and I am the kind of person that is a "meat and cheese only" sandwich eater. When I got turkey, bacon and Swiss, that wrap was CRAMMED with meat and cheese...so much that I usually had trouble finishing the whole thing for lunch. Today, I got a 6" pot roast sandwich and it was fantastic. The roll was so fresh and soft, and the roast was cooked perfectly. Of course, eating a sandwich that was almost the same width as its length was really tough to do but I couldn't put it down! Now I am overstuffed and will have to nap this afternoon, but that's OK. You can honestly eat here every day and not get tired of the combinations, or break the bank. Lunch is usually around $5 or $6, depending if you want to add chips or a drink. And they do offer some sammy suggestions and a daily special for soup and sammy, but you can mostly make your own. Want 6 cheeses? Toss all of 'em in there! Want it on a croissant? Can do! You can feel pressured to order, just because their service is so fast you don't have a lot of time in line but the people that work there are so nice, they don't care if you take a little extra time.

This place is so good and I think about it way too often. I highly recommend the stuffed Buns…read morebecause they always delicious no matter what the filling is. Just order early because they tend to sell out quick.

I had no idea that the Honey Baked Han Company had actual delis so when I was looking for a…read moresandwich while working in Erie, I figured I would come and give this place a try. This little shop offers a decent amount of options for a quick lunch while also giving you a place to pickup full desserts and even some big honey baked hams (but like, yum). I ordered a standard honey baked ham sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and some wonderful sauce that made me like the sandwich even more (seriously, it was delicious). The sandwich itself didn't come with anything else so I picked up a can of sprite ($1.99) and a bag of BBQ chips (I think $1.50) and it made for a pretty filling meal. Overall, if you want a ham sandwich this is probably where you want to go. The place was clean, the food was good, and the prices weren't bad either. Most important, honey baked ham is deciduous and I'm definitely going to be ordering one for thanksgiving.

This was inedible and on Tuesday after Thanksgiving I brought all untouched meat. Only three slices had been eaten. It was tasteless, overly salted, and dry. Never had I had such a horrible meal in my home! It was embrassing that family was commenting negatively on the meat. At that point I had no choice but to carry on. FYI for the small half ham and small turkey breast, about 5-6lbs total cost was $85+. Maybe my expectations were unrealisctic? Store owner negatated my comments, stating that no one has ever complained. Really?!?! Dealing with food and retail store no complaints - I find that unbelieveable!!!!! No apogoly was offered , that's is all I expected. NEVER TO ENTER THROUGH THEIR DOORS AGAIN. BEWARE!
