La Romantica is in a nice square with a few other restaurants and on a Monday afternoon, this place was jumping. We got sat outside which was perfect as there was a little stream next to us and we got to people watch.
One daughter had a pizza which was tasty, light and thin crust, and the crust went well with olive oil and balsamic. The other had carbonara equally tasty! The missus had some mushroom stuffed ravioli. The picture doesn't do it justice as it's not photogenic but it was incredibly tasty! I had some version of cordon bleu at the recommendation of our awesome server and I destroyed it!
As we got ready to leave, it was bathroom time so we went inside. Bathrooms are upstairs and oddly I found it cool to see what looked like incredibly old stairs. Never thought a trip to the bathroom would be cool but the stairs were worn in the middle and made me think of how many people might've walked these stairs.
When you're visiting Colmar, stop by Ristorante La Romantica for some deliciousness!
