I can't help but feel like steerage and out of my element when I go to this mall. Yeah, I know I'm a little sloppy on the outside, but whatever. There are plenty of fancy & higher class shopping options here. The parking is generally decent for a mall. I generally try to minimize my time here though. I've tried shopping at all the malls and Bell Square is the gold standard. It's got everything! Clothes, furniture, toys, a wide variety of food establishments, upscale and lower priced stores and last but not least lots of parking! Parking is one of things other malls screw up on but Bell Square does it right. It has several free parking garages close by. It's huge, well organized and beautifully decorated. I live far from Bellevue so I don't get here often enough, but I always make it for Christmas shopping! read more

Sometimes I love to hate on you, but really it's a nice place! Are all the stores here the most economical choices for your budget? Nope. But there are now some. And I'm a total lover of Nordstrom, and this Nordy's is pretty sweet. Also the new-ish Apple store seems to be a total behemoth for a mall, so if that's your thing, that may be appealing. Side note, to be fair and transparent, I totally used to work in Bell Square during breaks in college. I'm not saying how long ago and what not... because well, it's just not a need to know type deal! HA! Can't date myself here. But being a former employee of a store here didn't really affect my feelings in a negative or positive way towards this place, just meant I frequented here a lot more. Parking can be a pain if you come in the holiday season, but parking is free in the garage... so I feel like it's hard to complain. Plenty of food options, different types of stores, and places to kill time here... especially considering all the stuff along Bellevue way easily accessible through the garages, sidewalks or sky bridges. Oh and if you love Christmas-y stuff and aren't crowd averse... there is Snowflake Lane which happens here. It will likely be packed. But there is a whole big thing with fake snow, costumed folks and a parade type performance that shuts down Bellevue Way nightly for a brief period of time. Beautiful mall, especially during the Holiday Christmas season. Trees and reindeers hanging from the celling with musical "all i want for christmas is you" all throughout the mall. They have a great variety of stores (higher end too) and great activities for families. Plus outside at night they host a "christmas snow show" so Great, definitely a must see. This mall has spoiled me. (I realized this after I went to Northgate mall) It's clean and has nice stores. I like how there aren't obnoxious kiosks. I like that the restaurants are spread around so that there isn't a crowded gross smelling food court. I don't understand people complaining about how expensive everything is, there is everything from Forever 21 to Burberry and it's not like the J crew here is more expensive than J crews in other malls. Don't go here near a holiday, it's a disaster. There is good people watching here. I like to get frozen yoghurt from red mango and sit on a bench in the center of the mall. I have seen some very interesting outfits. read more

This place never fails to remind me of why I hate malls, and why consumer culture makes me want to vomit. You'll find your typical chain retail establishments, crappy mall food, and zombies wandering around brainlessly searching for truth in the latest overpriced products. If you have a void in your life TV hasn't yet filled and a high marginal propensity to consume due to, say, a new job as a Microsoft contractor, by all means come here and seek salvation. Leave your IQ in the parking lot along with your entry-level luxury sedan. The mall does earn one star for being less ghetto and seemingly safer than places like Alderwood and Northgate. If given the choice, I always go for Redmond Town Center over this place. I find myself here, however, whenever I need something at Nordstrom and am too lazy to drive over to Seattle. read more

I found Bellevue Square to be a pleasant experience. It's certainly the most comprehensive mall in the Greater Seattle area, especially when you add the entertainment facilities available at Lincoln Square. Lots of parking available, a nice variety of shops including some little nice quirky ones like the Lego shop (full size Millenium Falcon for $5000 anyone?) and Harry & David (their maltballs are to die for). Only problem was finding somewhere to eat as the eating places are all oer the mall, so if you're indecisive like me, you end up working up a good appetite by walking all over. A nice way to shop, stroll and kill some time. read more

We moved to WA over a year and a half ago. When I venture out of my beloved "Redmond Bubble," this is where I go. This is the best mall EVER. This is by far the most non-ghetto mall I've ever been to (and I've been to some pretty ghetto malls. Yeah, I'm talking to you Moreno Valley, Ontario Mills and Eastridge Mall). Call me a snob, but I like my mall shopping to be a pleasant experience without leering and inappropriate remarks being made. I don't see a lot of peacocking, annoying teenagers here hanging around thinking the mall is their club/meat market and trying to hook up with anyone they come across. I barely run into traffic and parking problems since I know where to go. I avoid 8th Street altogether and rely on good ol' trusty 4th Street as my best route. Parking, even on busy weekends, is not a problem. I laugh at myself because I realize I'm one of those people that gets lost and disoriented driving anywhere, except when I'm going to the mall :) There's like a honing device in my brain or something. My girls love this mall since it has a Sanrio store. Bummed they no longer have a Children's Place and Justice (it's being replaced by a Forever 21). Joy. They did get a Disney Store - finally!! There's no real food court, which at first I found strange. I'm used to going to malls and having a smorgasbord of food joints to look at if you stand in one spot. Not at Bellevue. The food is scattered around the mall, which prevents that well-known food court mayhem. On weeknights, it's a ghost town. I love it. It feels like you have the whole mall to yourselves sometimes. Kids' Cove (the play area) is, of course, a madhouse on weekends. It's pretty big though. I like that it's on the third floor. Again, best mall EVER. :) read more

Bellevue Square is one of my go to place in Washington. The mall is very clean, year it's not as new as it was when it first open. But I appreciate the cleanness. I love there is no food court which keeps the mall nice and neat. There are a lot of decent places to eat... yeah they are getting expensive but they are fine. The retailers are not too bad. Yeah most of them are fairly expensive but they are good stores after all. It's a fun mall where you can start from lunch, shopping, happy hour, movie! It's good time! read more

I pretty much grew up here (remember when they had that pet store with all the cute little kitties in the window?). It's come a long way over the last 20 years. A good selection of stores, great areas to sit down and take a break and have a coffee or snack. Good parking options. And if you have little kids (or watch a little kid) the play area on the third floor is a must! Much better than Alderwood or Northgate. I like that it's away from the hustle/bustle of shoppers and mostly enclosed so the little guys can't run off. There is a little coffee/pasty stand which is convenient as well. read more

4 stars and a half! Bellevue Square Mall is the only mall I go to! I shop there almost every week, followed by my runs to The Bravern. Bellevue Square has my favorite shops like Nordstorm, Tiffany's, Windows, and J. Crew. I really like to browse through their selection of shops, and after a long day in shopping, I go and buy my favorite drink from Starbucks. (I do that all the time) :) Most of the times, the parking lot is full so I will be hard to find a parking spot. read more

Wow, the Seattle area has alot of people who clearly do not like shopping malls or chain stores. Maybe if the mall contained more products made of hemp and twigs it might be higher rated? Visited this shopping center for the first time and found it a welcomed shopping experience. It's clean, upscale, and filled with many of my favorite stores. Personally, I've never been to a mall that didn't contain chain stores ... still shocked by all the Bellevue Square negativity. The downside of the mall is the odd layout - very choppy, split up by streets, buildings, parking. Trying to locate the Container Store required walking through a parking garage then into and through Crate & Barrel. Also, restaurants/fast food are sprinkled throughout the mall so there isn't any one spot to review your dining choices (i.e. a food court concept would have helped). But then again, given all the anti-mall sentiment a food court would like have set the city into revolt ;-) Will definitely stop in again when in the area, assuming no one burns it down in the meantime. read more

Bellevue Square has a lot of good stores for most budgets. I think the lack of restaurants is kind of sad though, as I do wish they had a food court, but then again I guess it would take away from the upscaled mall that is Bellevue Square. And I guess if I really want to be cheap...they do have McDonalds right? The parking lot can get crazy during peak times, but at least it's free. There could be some things better about this mall, but overall it's still a good design with a good amount of shopping. Although I will say do not go to this mall in your sweats if you expect to be taken seriously by the sales associates in any store...except for maybe Nordstrom (they're one of the few stores that don't judge a book by it's cover). Bellevue Square gets super crazy (and annoying) during the holidays (like all malls), but i'll give em props for the little drum session and fake snow thing they do every night...that's nice. ~G read more

I like this mall a lot, the kids play area is GIGANTIC and so fun looking. Lots of shops to hit of all price ranges and the atmosphere of people are nice, everyone seems mature and calm. Not too much teenagers here at every corner like Southcenter has, at least the times I have gone there hasnt been much. Overall, its clean, nice bathrooms and great kids play area, which is the very top floor, next door to a kids play camp type of place. read more

This mall goes without saying. It's one of the prettiest and well kept malls in the area. That being said, it's not picture perfect by any means. I spend nearly every single day here, and coming from a business perspective, they are terrible on up keep of stores and being on top of maintenance. From a shoppers perspective, what's there not to love? This place has all the right brands and has managed to make it so that kiosks don't exist. What?! No kiosks!? No nagging salespeople trying to sell you a massage or a nice eye brow waxing? Yep, you heard it right people. They don't exist here! I think hands down this has to be my favorite thing about B Square. When it comes to parking, the parking garages are always a nightmare. You don't have to park on the closest place to the mall because every parking garage offers multiple entrances to the mall. It's easy to find a way to get in, just complicated to find your way back unless you're a B Square expert. The food selection is interesting. You have your McDonald's, you have your Taco del Mar, and your Specialties Cafe, but that's about it. There isn't much of a "quick" bite to eat which can be frustrating for people when you just want something quick to shove down your throat. But I guess that's what keeps B Square at the "elite" of mall status'. Not lowering their standards to every other sub par mall in the world. All in all, I love this place. They are constantly changing, they keep the place up really nice, and it's like there's actually a place in this world that you can shop in peace. read more

Bellevue Square has a handful of my favorite stores. Otherwise, I would never go here. To its credit, it is clean, upscale, and has a large selection. It also has a generally disrespectful clientele, and hoards of people rushing through the stores and bumping into you without acknowledging your existence. I go here about 3 times a year, and always leave with a bad taste. If only I could take my favorite stores and move them out of the Eastside... read more

When you're looking for something expensive, head on over to Bellevue Square. But please be aware if you don't pass the paper bag test, you may have to beat off a nosy sales associate who thinks you might be stealing. It's a quiet mall, usually the only noise you will hear are the squeals of children playing as the massive amounts of stay at home moms who frequent the mall on a daily basis let their kids run wild. Anyhoo, I come over when I need some nicer work or event clothing. Or want to pick something up that is in stock, the one good thing about the stores here is that they rarely run out of items. Nordstroms, Sephora, Aveda, Ann Taylor, some shoe places will always have what you need. There are eateries EVERYWHERE, tucked in little random corners of the mall. They have a Specialty's Cafe too, i can smell those warm cookies from the parking lot. Parking is so quick and painless, except during Christmas time. They have massive amounts of parking everywhere, and its all a quick walk from any entrance. Avoid the bathroom by Coach, I could smell it from 40 feet away. It wasn't a good smell either. While I prefer the selection of items here at Bellevue Square, it will never trump my beloved Southcenter Mall. read more

Even though I don't go to Bellevue Square often, this probably is one of my favorite malls on the West Coast. Bellevue Square is super clean and well maintained. Like other people have said, the traffic flow of shoppers seems to go well and not super crazy feeling, even when the mall is packed. Also even the parking lots have a normal flow too. There is a wide variety of stores including big chains (Macy's and Nordstrom), tech stores (Apple and Microsoft), typical clothing stores (The Gap and Tommy Bahama) and unique shops (Olive Oil). There is no food court, but there are a wide variety of restaurants here. read more

My first time in Bellevue and it just so happened to be during the Bellevue Art Walk (July 24-25). I strolled through the mall to get to the the art booths located in the parking garage area. I came across a store called Fireworks. Let me tell you I had a hard time leaving! This shop is filled with fun and wonderful gifts and 'artsy fartsy' stuff that I just love! From paper luminaries, jewelry, hipster baby gear, to spatulas shaped like electric guitars! I found some cool green tea lip balm and beverage coaster shaped like LP records. I noticed that this mall has 2 major department anchor stores (Macys and Nordstron) however there are some really great boutique shops that you will not find else where. I took the 550 bus from Seattle Mt. Rainer area to this mall and it only took about 20 minutes. If you are out and about visiting the Seattle WA area you have to check out Bellevue and be sure to stop in to the Bellevue Art Museum across the street! read more

I gotta admit. This is one of my favorite malls. It has most of the stores in the Downtown Seattle area, combined. I don't go here very often because I don't feel the need to. But I've had some pretty good memories here. I'll have to take a trip back to this mall someday to max out my credit card. read more

I grew up in the area (shocking, I know) and trips to Belle Square were a treat on the weekends, hey it's a long bus ride from Bothell. It was a fun place to be! Now, I'm amazed they're not asking for three credit cards, drivers license, and a full credit check before entering. Belle Square has quite simply gotten too full of themselves. The play area has been banished to the third level, serviced by two elevators that are generally packed with yuppies too posh to walk on real stairs. My kids still love going here, why I have no idea. We can spend the same amount of time in the car and get to the less yuppie Alderwood Mall and they still have a Disney Store. Or we can spend a bit more time in the car and hit the great stores at SouthCenter! I miss the old Bellevue Square, where being stuck up wasn't a requirement! read more

ABOUT FRICKEN TIME THEY REMODELED THIS MALL!! I know that was a while ago but I just wanted to pronounce it to the world because that old green faux brick was hideously wore out. Oh and THANK YOU for moving the kids play center to the very TOP of the mall. I hate trying to maneuver through the mall during the holidays with all those strollers and little rugrats screaming while I was half way across the mall. Talk about stressful enough. But could you please do yourself a favor and STOP moving all the stores around a BAJILLION times. I can never find anything! Whenever my husband wants to make me happy, cheer me up or make my day, it just takes 5 words..."Wanna go to Bellevue Square??" I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bellevue Square Mall. It is so wonderful and fun! I love every store: it's where I stock up on Hallmark greeting cards & ornaments (Sept-Dec.), I buy my kitchen gadgets from Williams Sonoma, I can go shopping for new clothes or shoes, we have Starbucks at the Lodge every time, and we usually pick up something to eat, whether it is just a simple cupcake from Pinkabella or a full sit down meal at Ruth's Chris or P F Changs. When we're short on time, we can have a quick meal at the Taco Del Mar. We usually do the whole "JCPenney picture studio" thing about twice a year and our son loves seeing all the new things and all the people! It's usually pretty crowded!! We end the trip with an hour at the apple store or Microsoft store. I wish I lived closer... read more

Bellevue Square Shopping has been an American class center for a number of years all year round and a bit pricey... very pricey! As for being hungry? I would rather consider a short drive to eat at Bellevue's Crossroads Mall on 156th and 8th to enjoy so many great food creative restaurants. Sundays are an early 6pm closing at Crossroads. Check it out! Please remember that- Bellevue Square also has special December entertainment to entertain the family. Watch for Fashion Week and of the last weekend of every July will sponser the Arts and Craft festival every year and bring lots of money! read more

I took my granddaughter here to Bel-Square Microsoft store to look at the new Surface product after we saw all the TV advertising. I'm not very tech savvy, but I wanted to buy something for her to use that would help her in school, and something durable that she can take with her. The store was wildly crowded as I guess everyone wanted a Surface. Nice store though, very intricate and well laid out. I wasn't aware that Microsoft even had a store?! It was exciting to be in the Microsoft lair. It's a beautiful set up. I didn't think we would be able to get any personal help until a nice young gal named NADIA came to our aid. She told us in plain speak (something I definitely need!) why the Surface was such a great tablet, and the comparisons to what my granddaughter had also seen. She got us to one of demonstration tables so we could actually try it out first. We purchased one shortly after, and my granddaughter is thrilled with it. Nadia was so helpful, and made our Microsoft store experience delightful and easy, despite the large crowd. I will go back again during Christmas season for gift cards and such. I love the whole area, and this is the epicenter of the kick-ass little underrated downtown Bellevue. The only thing lacking in the 16-square block area is a decent sports bar, and I'm sorry Tavern Hall, but yes, that includes you. Get the NFL package and we'll talk. Other than that, you can get just about everything you need here including the holy grail of Washington State: lots of free parking and a great bus terminal. I love Seattle but sometimes it's just too much hassle. Go Bellevue. read more

Considering I work in the area, this mall is convenient for me to visit after work if I need to run errands. Convenience is *big* for me. There are a decent amount of stores here, and the fact that it's also linked to Lincoln Square and Bellevue Place makes it seem bigger! There are stores here that can do some damage to your pocket book (or make you mad you don't have one that's LARGE) so I tend to just browse those stores ;) I like that there's a decent mix of high-end stores, the usual Macy's, Nordstrom's & JC Penny's, and fun little novelty stores. Lots of food options around. Parking garage is free, but can be a little crowded. read more

First time out in this area. They did a good job making it look really classy, elegant and fun to shop. The bathrooms are clean, so many stores and restaurants to choose from/shop. Parking is ample, they have a lot of spots too for electric vehicles. Very accessible from public transit, walking and Uber. read more
