Although the program for had to go entirely online due to the pandemic, it's been fabulous. The parent educators are engaging, caring and non judge mental. The children's teachers are kind, well spoken and are incredibly thoughtful and imaginative. They have worked so hard to provide an excellent experience for the kids. The projects are fun and interesting, all lessons or labs each week are accompanied by songs, books, visual examples and just a lot of fun. The kids get to share and that has felt so important for them to be able to have that interaction during a time when we have all been so isolated. I know some parents struggle having their kids on Zoom but ours love these lab style classes. They provide materials and everything. Totally worth every penny and overall it's pretty cost effective. We have to get a round of applause for these teachers because as parents, we just could not do this alone. Thank you for keeping this program alive and well online for all of us.

I worked in the Financial Aid department and am sharing my experience from an internal perspective…read more Federal financial aid is complex and highly regulated. During my time there, written procedures and standardized workflows were limited or inconsistently applied. I raised concerns about documentation, clear follow up practices, and transparent processing standards. I observed instances where internal delays and inconsistent follow up affected students' aid timelines. When communication is not clearly documented and tracked, students may be directed toward payment plans while still waiting for financial aid adjustments, increasing financial pressure. Special circumstance reviews and other high impact funding decisions would benefit from clearer documentation, transparent criteria, and broader representation in decision making. Consistency and accountability are critical when students' funding is involved. I also experienced limited tolerance for diverse communication and cognitive styles. A more structured and inclusive environment would better support both staff and students. Financial aid requires precision, documentation, and equity. Stronger procedural standardization and inclusive leadership would improve student outcomes.

It has been a life-changing experience for me as well as many others who attend regularly. The teachers are an outstanding group of people who are committed to learning by participating. Every class presents an opportunity to expand your mind and/or body that creates a vibrancy in later life that stimulates learning that may not be otherwise possible due to physical constraints that is a normal part of the aging process. It's a 38 year old non-profit educational institution that offers reasonably priced college level classes for adults of all ages. Over 25 of these non-credit classes are offered per quarter and include such subjects as literature, opera appreciation, history, watercolor, cinema, movement, writing, poetry, bridge and much more. New and different classes are offered every quarter and they're taught by a great faculty who all volunteer their time. There are often nearly 300 students enrolled per quarter. And the cost? It's amazingly inexpensive--the tuition for an 8 week course is typically just $30. This place is unique and is often referred to as one of Seattle's best kept secrets. I can see why. It's a very friendly place too. They hold Open Houses at the beginning of every quarter so that people can meet the instructors and hear brief summaries about upcoming classes. In March 2013 Lifetime Learning is moving to new facilities at 3841 NE 123rd St. in Lake City. (It was formerly located in a school near Green Lake for several years and before that in a Sand Point area school for many years.)

My daughter had teacher John for almost 2 years before seeing a different teacher. - program director is very receptive of comments. Example: one new teacher talked a lot in the beginning to the point the kids were no longer listening. Explained the situation to the program director and the following week, there was improvement. Short instructions, kids listened well, and ample swim time. My daughter would've stayed with Orca if it weren't for the fact that she wanted to join a swim team and needed that next-level program to improve her endurance and skill set. I always recommend first time swimmers to check out Orca.

I have been trading for about a year now using OTA's strategies, and they really do work. To succeed, you need a good trading plan, and weeks or months of practice. The cost of OTA classes seems high to some people, but you are really paying for the equivalent of a college degree in a new career. Some people end up trading full-time, which really means 10-20 hours a week, or just doing this to improve their portfolio performance. Like any other career, what you achieve is a reflection of what you invest. I'm very glad I decided to hook up with OTA when I did. It has changed my life.

The questions were *very* familiar, some were almost exactly what I saw on the crams, in the books, and what we practiced in class with games. I feel like I could hear the instructors (Deborah) voice in my head drilling in the information and correct answers that I needed to answer the questions. I followed Rockwell's advice about passing all the cram tests with at least 90%, I tried to not rush through the state exam, but it felt easy. There was one thing I hadn't heard of or seen before on the test, they used the term "mutual assent" to talk about a "meeting of the minds," I had never heard of mutual assent before, but this was minor. The math problems were even easier on the state than the ones on the crams, so that was nice. Overall, if you're like me and you want to avoid all the nervousness of taking a major exam by being prepared, then Rockwell is a worthwhile investment - worth every penny and every minute of time. I love that I felt the exam was easy and moved through the questions with ease.

At one point he whispered in my ear "You could've told me to Fuck off with the offer I gave you". After he kicked me off the team, he told me the only way for you to be on the team is as a film analyzer, I would watch games and give information. Probably the most disrespectful thing someone could ask a serious athlete. The problem at NU is that as a Christian school there is no form of accountability with staff. There is a thought that a Christian isn't capable of atrocities, but as we have seen time and time again on the news. Disguising themselves with the religion to still have ill intentions and be overcome by human nature like Gary McIntosh. The most devoted Christians are sometimes the biggest devils; pride is the devil. I have brought this to the president's attention, and I was told by Dr. Castleberry that my accusations weren't credible and told me to rather place the blame on myself. The men's program hasn't had a successful year in all the time Gary has been there, no accountability. A former teammate told me that Gary spoke about not caring about winning. NAIA is a competitive league with many players seeking to become professional, do not go to NU if you want to have an athletic career. Gary allowed my teammates to tell me to "go fuck yourself" and even when they said it directly in front of him, Gary took action once by sitting him out for about 5 minutes. Coach Titus was also a witness to many of these harassments during spring season and regular season. I openly expressed to Gary my thoughts on the season prior and how I wanted to Transfer to a different program, I don't think my honesty sat well with him. While he was giving me phone calls praising how I was doing with the team, he suddenly in the middle of practice got into my face and yelled "GET OFF OF MY FIELD" after I hadn't moved into a certain position. Before he yelled, I told him " I thought I was in a good position" does that warrant punishment for Gary to turn orange like a red peach and yell while water falls of saliva come out of his mouth? Ultimately that was my last practice as I waited three weeks in "Probation" for him to come up with an answer whether I would remain on the team or not. In those three weeks the men's soccer team were throwing house parties while I sat depressed in my room just wanting to play. Days before the dropout deadline Gary wasn't responding to me, I had to get Vice President Rick involved. Well, I didn't drop out in time, so I am also 7,000 dollars in debt, debt that was sent to collections. I tried appealing this even when I have emails proving my intent to drop out before Sept. 28th and proving Gary was not in cahoots' with me. Vice-president Rick and President Castleberry denied my request without any investigation. After all I experienced with NU, I still followed the men's and women's team. Never missing a home game for either team, or even traveling to Oregon on my own to support the women's team during their playoff run. Rick was also in attendance at every home game; he never approached me after everything that had happened. I was an outcast at a Christian school, let that sink in. NU did get me closer to God, but not in the way I expected.
