It's located right on a trench line & the grounds has one of the original craters from the mines used in the Messin Battle. Breakfast is of a continental type, no full English but always plenty to have. Evening meal is provided if required in the bar/restaurant setting with a limited menu but well cooked & not to expensive. Plenty of parking. Bike rack if you have cycles & free Wi-Fi. I would certainly recommend this place & intend to use it again on my next visit to Ypres. Hooge crater museum & war grave cemetery 200m away.

I stayed before in this location and it's the best one became my favorite…read more It's in west lille Englos easy to access but the most important is away from city noise also you get more space in room.Parking is free and secure.there is an Auchan 3 minutes drive if you are on a budget to buy water or other items. There's a bar & Restaurant on the premise Front desk staff are professional same crew since 2017 when first discovered this property. They are very friendly. I don't have much photos on my phone

My posh hotel in downtown Lille overbooked, and put me up here for a night. At first I really liked…read morethe place, even though it's 20 minutes outside of town and next to cow pastures.. seriously. Friendly staff. Place is clean and modern looking. Not bad for a mega chain hotel. I was forced to eat there too, since there wasn't anything within walking distance. Food was actually pretty decent. That's about where the good stops, and the bad comes in. Bed was hard as a rock. Walls are paper thin (think old school Japanese house thin). I was skyping with friends back home at 1am -- just conversational tone, not getting loud or anything. My neighbor was forced to bang on the wall, because it was apparently too loud. At first I was like, b!#$%... but, after I headed to bed, I knew what she meant. Every little thing within several hundred feet you hear. It was terrible. If you're a light sleeper, stay away.
