From the addition of the casino slots gaming area, to the refreshed paint and clean floors, the paved parking lot and updated food/beverage options, I can see becoming a more frequent visitor. Upon entry to the gaming side of the facility, the casino is inside to the left. I signed up for a new card and told 1) they'll match your highest tier from any local casino (bring your card) and 2) gave me a $10 credit for play, 3) swiped my new card for $25 food credit to LongShots and 4) spun the wheel (digital) and won another $25 gaming credit!! In the first 5 min of my visit, I'm already winning! I popped into the casino side and happy to see freshly carpeted and brand new machines along with new seats. The space is not the largest but it's meant to compliment the horse track and it does just that. I visited LongShots and used my food credit on Onion Rings and Fries (see review for LongShots) and then made my way to the inside upstairs seating area where I spent the rest of the race time enjoying the ponies run. The concession stand had good choices (typical ballpark food) that are teams only proved which is great since I feel like movie theatres charge an arm and a leg for concessions. It's an older facility but it also feels like you're stepping back in time to appreciate a newly released movie at a drive in just like it used to be back in the 70-80s. Needless to say we had a really fun and great time and loved the fact that it was family friendly. I saw people with canes walking up stairs. This is not safe. Once upstairs in the balcony, the steps leading to each row are very steep and the step to the lowest row is a huge drop without any warning. I understand we don't want to destroy the character of this beautiful building but something must be done to warn people. Suggestions: 1. Warn people in advance 2. Fix the step to the bottom row of the balcony so it's not a huge drop Or, stop using this building for events, especially the balcony.

The rows were intentionally built to provide visibility from any row, and I was all the way in the Mezzanine row and I could see perfectly fine. They offer events and showings that would interest different types of people from popular musical events to comedy shows and ballets. The downside to the theater are the concession stands, all of the food and drinks were overly priced and offered limited items. Also, in my opinion, the theater needs better lighting in the isle rows and the entrances to prevent incidents.
