I purchased a vintage set of Japanese Sake and Soy bottles as a gift for my daughter today, and i will definitely return.

The owner, Keith, was so friendly and extremely helpful. He shared with us how he started collecting as a hobby to now a business. He's extremely knowledgeable and told stories about the items in his store and where they have come from, all around the world. As a religious college professor and missionary, Keith and his wife, Ann, have had the opportunity to explore the world and share these pieces in their store. Upon first glance it appears that there is just one level BUT there is a basement and an upstairs to this store as well! You will find a ton of unique and one-of-a-kind antiques, collectibles, treasures, furniture, pieces, jewelry, rugs, pottery, art and vintage items from all over the globe. There are also paintings, pottery, and books available for purchase by the owners and their family. Additionally, there are many, many Icons that can be purchased here. Found is one of the only stores in the Midwest were you can purchase from a HUGE collection of Eastern Orthodox, Ethiopian, & Anabaptist Icons. It's fun to explore the store and find these spread throughout.

My mom went to Eash Sales to surprise me with a 5ft wooden A-frame swing. After consulting with…read morethe sales staff and double checking that the item would be delivered fully built - she agreed to purchase the item for $609, plus a $300 delivery charge. The delivery came, but we were told that only the swing itself comes assembled- the A-frame to house the swing did not. Upon calling the store, we spoke to Marty, owner/manager, who confirmed this, and said he did not know where the miscommunication occurred but implying it was my mom and son who heard wrong. Nonetheless, the swing was put together by the delivery guy. When my mom asked for a loyal customer token of appreciation for all the chaos and miscommunication, Marty basically called her integrity and character into question and claimed she had been planning this entire interaction for compensation. I was appalled that a long time customer would be treated this way, and I am extremely disappointed. Whatever happened to treating a customer with kindness and valuing their loyalty?

Other consignment stores in the area would do themselves a favor to be more like this store. However, almost every time I'm shopping there, I am surprised by how unprofessional the staff is. They gossip amongst themselves constantly, including very rude comments about customers, seconds after they've walked out the door. I have overheard conversations about who is hooking up with whom, and graphic observations about people's personal hygiene. I can't imagine allowing such a culture in my own business. It's very off-putting. Fortunately for the revolving closet, the shopping is so good that I will continue to patronize them despite their lack of professionalism.

I don't think he was aware of the existence of Hobby Lobby at the time, so he made the much farther 45 minute trek to Goshen to MCH. Hubby said the store was slightly dirty but the person working polite. He said they had a decent selection, so he purchased 2 model rockets: Big Bertha & Starship Octavius. After finishing assembly, the kids decided they wanted to choose different paint colors for their rockets as well as pick out their next project (building model cars). Needing to go to Mishawaka, we went to Hobby Lobby (HL) this time. Of course their selection is massive, and there were a lot of things hubby saw there that he also saw at MCH. His excitement quickly turned into frustration when he realized that a lot of the same products he had purchased at MCH were almost double that the price of HL. He paid $16 for a rocket (Starship Octavius) at MCH & the same one was at HL for $9.99. He found this to be the case with most every aspect of the project. Talk about disappointing! He vowed to only do his hobby affairs with HL moving forward. Very sad, because we always want to support small businesses.. but gouging the prices in such a way is what makes folks turn their backs on these small mom & pop shops, and steer more towards the big box stores.

So much of their used vinyl is marked up way higher than it should be. It's become a fun "window shopping" record store for me, but it's very difficult to justify the cost when they are often charging 40-50% more than most other places for vinyl in similar condition.
