Ivy and her team made our reception cocktail hour so special! The whole experience of figuring out our configuration (we went with a string trio including violin, cello, and harp), building our song list, and coordinating day-of logistics went very smoothly. The trio played beautifully, and with the added amplification, really added to the atmosphere of our outdoors event. Bellarosa truly elevated our reception! read more

I had a great experience working with Bellarosa for my wedding. I am quite picky about live music since I have a musical background, so I can confidently say that Ivy and her team are highly technically skilled musicians (and frankly better than most wedding musicians I've heard)! But beyond that, they were also extremely easy to work with, flexible, responsive to my more complicated requests, and very detail oriented, even catching a mistake that I made with the schedule we provided them. I would highly recommend them! read more

I am a wedding planner who has worked with Bellarosa String Quartet many times over the past few years. They are talented and always deliver on event day with beautiful music, early arrival and a polished appearance. Ivy, strings leader and owner, is always easy to work with, professional and accommodating. Ivy assists me in collaborating on planning for event day including answering questions on wind factors, venue logistics, etc. to make sure we always get the music right. I cannot recommend Bellarosa enough! read more

It was a breeze to work with Ivy and her team to plan for my June wedding in Sonoma. Bellarosa has an EXTENSIVE song list, and they worked to ensure all of our favorites were played before our ceremony and at cocktail hour. They were on tie, dressed professionally and pleasant to our guests. The strings offered the perfect touch to the atmosphere we were seeking. Highly reccommend! read more

I was introduced to Ivy by a friend in a social setting, but was so excited to have the opportunity to hire Bellarosa when I was planning my wedding. The whole process was simple and painless leading up to the big day...and the day-of was no different. I could hear the music coming from the foyer of our wedding venue, and I could hear it as I walked down the isle. I could hear it during cocktail hour, and it was the perfect blend of romantic and fun. All of our guests mentioned how lovely it was to have musicians there, playing songs that they recognized - we went with a mixture of vintage and current popular songs. I would highly recommend Bellarosa String Quartet to anyone interested in live music for their event, regardless of how big or how small. It will be the perfect touch! read more

Our violin and cello duo was the most classy and elegant touch to our backyard wedding. A good friend hired Bellarosa String Quartet as a gift to us to play during cocktail hour. Unfortunately as the bride and groom we did not get to actually hear them play since we were away taking photos as our guests enjoyed cocktail hour. But I heard nothing but amazing things about the background instrumentals! And the duo looked amazing in our photos. On top of having them play during cocktail hour, we also booked a violinist to also play during our ceremony as I walked down the aisle. We made this decision very last minute - as in the day before the wedding!!! But Ivy was so flexible, accommodating, and willing to work with us despite being so last minute (I completely forgot to arrange any ceremony music and it didn't cross my mind until the day before - tales of a COVID bride). The music they provided during the ceremony entrance and exit was so beautiful and complimenting to our small church ceremony. I'm so happy they were a part of our special day! read more

After deciding that we wanted a live string trio during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, our wedding planner said that we should look no further than Bellarosa. And, how right she was! Bellarosa was fantastic. Not only did they flawlessly perform during our day, but Ivy and her team learned 3 new pieces of music that we wanted played during the ceremony. All we had to do was let them know the songs and they did the rest. Their presence completely elevated our day and all of our guests loved the pop covers that they played during cocktail hour. Classy, fun and all around perfect! read more

Bellrosa String Quartet is THE BEST strings group in the Sonoma/Napa area. As a local wedding planner, I've had the privilege to work with them for 10+ years and they never dissappoint. Ivy is so personable, knowledgeable, organized and just a joy to work with. I highly reccommend BSQ for any event! read more

We are so happy that we hired the Bellarosa String Quartet to play music at our wedding. They were an absolute joy to work with from day one. Ivy and her team are professional and easy-going all at once, and they play beautifully. They were on time (early in fact) and did everything we asked and more. My husband planned a surprise, singing to me at the end of the ceremony (!) and Ivy was very accommodating in working with him secretly pre-wedding. They even recorded a string accompaniment for him to practice with. Everyone loved the song he sang, and I was sooo surprised and touched. They also played pre-ceremony at our wedding, and we feel it really started the whole afternoon off with the best energy possible. Thank you, Bellarosa! read more

We hired Bellarosa to play at our wedding in Sonoma a few weeks ago--specifically, the string trio for four hours. Ivy was so great to coordinate with leading up to the wedding and they sounded amazing! They already have a huge song list, but we had a lot of specific requests and they were able to find and buy the sheet music for those songs, which really made everything all the more perfect. They were professional (on time, etc.), really personable, and flexible with the schedule of the day. Our guests continually commented on how great the music was. We had them for four hours and only wish we could've booked them for longer! read more

At the last minute we decided to hire a string quartet for our wedding. They were wonderful and very open to suggestions. They created a wonderful environment and added so much to the wedding...I must say it was money very well spent (especially considering how overpriced wedding costs are. Highly recommended read more

We worked with Bellarosa for our wedding on 8/18/18, absolutely a dream-like experience! We had some niche songs in mind to go with the ceremony, we weren't sure how these songs are going to turn out, and wow...Bellarosa really delivered! The moment I heard the song I couldn't help my tears running down my face...one of the best experiences we had on our big day, will be sure to hire them again for any future occasions!! read more

Ivy and her violin/ viola/ guitar trio were an awesome part of our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception. Ivy was very responsive to email in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, and she made our song selection easy. Having played in string quartets at weddings before, I spent a disproportionate amount of time researching musicians for our wedding, and their website sound samples stood out. I was even more impressed at the group's professionalism and musicality in person-- they did not disappoint! They were even able to quickly put together and collaborate with my father-in-law, who played the ukelele with them for one of our ceremony songs. Could not recommend them highly enough! read more

My wife and I got married at Arista Winery in June 2019, and we hired Bellarosa to provide live music for our reception and cocktail hour. Everything was perfect -- Ivy (the owner) was beyond flexible when we decided to make some last minute music requests, and the quartet played beautifully. We cannot recommend Bellarosa String Quartet highly enough! read more

Can't sing enough praises when it comes to the Bellarosa String Quartet. We hired them for our wedding 3/7/15 so this review is long overdue! Ivy was so very great to work with: so very communicative and accommodating! Best of all, they can do custom song requests. We had a Pixar's "Up" semi-inspired Theme and the Bellarosa team learned the theme song which we had played during our wedding procession. This was quite special to us as it was played beautifully and it added a whimsical nuance to the wedding party's entrance. I recently looked over their website and see their playlist has nicely expanded which includes the song we chose :-) Ivy let us know how many songs we could choose for both the cocktail hour as well as for the ceremony. With their song options, they have quite a diverse set of genres which really show that you're choosing a group who loves music! They reflect my personal tastes from string versions of the Beatles to Coldplay, elegantly played classical, to jazz hits and movie scores! I only wish that we could have expanded that cocktail hour so we could have added more of their playing time. The actual wedding day went by so quickly that I didn't have a chance to give Ivy and the team a proper thank you which I still regret to this day. My wife and I are so appreciative for the memories you helped make and the perfectly played soundtrack for our special day. We included the song list that we chose for our wedding day on our website which from time to time we go back to listen to the samples as they bring back the memories of the day (http://www.donloveskatie.com/the-wedding/). read more

My husband and I were very lucky to get to work with Bella Rosa String Quartet for our wedding at Tyge William Cellars in Sonoma, CA on May 12, 2018. Ivy and her team of wonderful musicians created such a fantastic atmosphere for our wedding ceremony this past September near St. Helena. The team at Bellarosa String Quartet played at our wedding in July 2018 at Silverado Resort and Spa and we could not be any happier with their service! Ivy was incredibly helpful during the planning process. She was prompt in her communication and was very happy to help me make song selections as well. We learned of Bella Rosa through researching them online, and decided to go with them based on their great reviews. Ivy worked with me to find what arrangement would fit our outdoor ceremony best. Loved having the Bellaorsa string trio play at our church wedding ceremony. Ivy was a pleasure to work with from start to finish -- responsive to emails and helpful with all the details. The music was beautiful and exactly what we'd envisioned. Highly recommend! read more

What a perfect compliment to our daughter's New Years Eve wedding ceremony at The Lodge at Sonoma. Ivy was wonderful to work with and a great source of information. They have a large repertoire and were agreeable to playing a piece that our daughter requested. Listening to them play before, during and after the ceremony made the beginning of the evening seem like a dream. It was memorable. read more

Bellarosa performed during our wedding ceremony just a week ago and they were incredible! Ivy was so professional and easy to communicate with from the beginning. The music was spot on and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The quartet is extremely talented and the pieces they played in the chapel were so beautiful. They even learned a new song that I requested to walk down the aisle to! It was perfect and it gives me chills just thinking about it! Nothing beats a live string quartet for a wedding ceremony. I highly recommend Bellarosa for any event! Thanks again, Ivy and your team for making our day so magical! read more
