I was introduced to Ivy by a friend in a social setting, but was so excited to have the opportunity to hire Bellarosa when I was planning my wedding. The whole process was simple and painless leading up to the big day...and the day-of was no different. I could hear the music coming from the foyer of our wedding venue, and I could hear it as I walked down the isle. Our violin and cello duo was the most classy and elegant touch to our backyard wedding. A good friend hired Bellarosa String Quartet as a gift to us to play during cocktail hour. Unfortunately as the bride and groom we did not get to actually hear them play since we were away taking photos as our guests enjoyed cocktail hour. But I heard nothing but amazing things about the background instrumentals! And the duo looked amazing in our photos. On top of having them play during cocktail hour, we also booked a violinist to also play during our ceremony as I walked down the aisle. We made this decision very last minute - as in the day before the wedding!!! But Ivy was so flexible, accommodating, and willing to work with us despite being so last minute (I completely forgot to arrange any ceremony music and it didn't cross my mind until the day before - tales of a COVID bride). The music they provided during the ceremony entrance and exit was so beautiful and complimenting to our small church ceremony. I'm so happy they were a part of our special day! read more

We hired Bellarosa to play at our wedding in Sonoma a few weeks ago--specifically, the string trio for four hours. Ivy was so great to coordinate with leading up to the wedding and they sounded amazing! They already have a huge song list, but we had a lot of specific requests and they were able to find and buy the sheet music for those songs, which really made everything all the more perfect. They were professional (on time, etc.), really personable, and flexible with the schedule of the day. Our guests continually commented on how great the music was. Ivy and her team are professional and easy-going all at once, and they play beautifully. They were on time (early in fact) and did everything we asked and more. Ivy and her violin/ viola/ guitar trio were an awesome part of our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception. Ivy was very responsive to email in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, and she made our song selection easy. Having played in string quartets at weddings before, I spent a disproportionate amount of time researching musicians for our wedding, and their website sound samples stood out. I was even more impressed at the group's professionalism and musicality in person-- they did not disappoint! Can't sing enough praises when it comes to the Bellarosa String Quartet. We hired them for our wedding 3/7/15 so this review is long overdue! Ivy was so very great to work with: so very communicative and accommodating! Best of all, they can do custom song requests. We had a Pixar's "Up" semi-inspired Theme and the Bellarosa team learned the theme song which we had played during our wedding procession. This was quite special to us as it was played beautifully and it added a whimsical nuance to the wedding party's entrance. I recently looked over their website and see their playlist has nicely expanded which includes the song we chose :-) Ivy let us know how many songs we could choose for both the cocktail hour as well as for the ceremony. With their song options, they have quite a diverse set of genres which really show that you're choosing a group who loves music! They reflect my personal tastes from string versions of the Beatles to Coldplay, elegantly played classical, to jazz hits and movie scores! I only wish that we could have expanded that cocktail hour so we could have added more of their playing time. The actual wedding day went by so quickly that I didn't have a chance to give Ivy and the team a proper thank you which I still regret to this day. My wife and I are so appreciative for the memories you helped make and the perfectly played soundtrack for our special day.
