Why I haven't written a review yet for one of my happy places is beyond me! I've been coming to…read morestudio 703 in Chesterfield every since my girl J.C. moved there around ten years ago. Front desk staff is always attentive and ready to help you with whatever they can. Almost every single person I've ever recommended to J.C. (which is a lot at this point lol) has decided to stay with her and for good reason. She's the best at what she does; so much so that I've paid for the bride's hair and makeup in any wedding I'm in so we can use her/703 because I don't let anyone else touch my face or hair. I've uploaded a variety of photos to show her versatility and ability to bring your vision to life! Also, if calling to schedule makes you anxious like it does me, they have an app for that! You're easily able to plug in the services your wanting along with the staff member to see not only availability but also pricing, talk about transparency! So if you're looking for a new salon to call home, they'll leave the light on for ya!

Well, the stylists are great. But no one is ever ever on time. Waiting is not a problem but the…read moreowner never ever acknowledges I'm waiting. Frankly it's incredibly rude. A simple courtesy acknowledgement that I am there waiting or a text that he's behind would be client friendly but he has never ever done that. I've waited up to one hour frequently with no apology. It's unreal. Maybe that's why he sold the business- either the games made him enough money to retire or the games hit his business hard enough he had to. FYI-the new owners price list is 1/2 of Salon Prive's!

I am blown away. Jewels was my hairstylist and I could have not asked for someone better. I had my…read morehair cut at Ulta in March and it was awful. The guy used too much mousse, it wasn't what I wanted, and it was over $100!!! I've been growing my hair out but by bit for the last three years and thought nervously that it was time for a chop. I had pictures ready and everything, but when I saw her, I just gave her an idea. Medium length, highlights my eyes and waves, with volume and minimal styling. GUYS. It was only $60 and considering the look of the place I thought it was gonna be so much higher. She washed my hair, cut it with absolute precision for a whole hour, made wonderful conversation, stayed past closing time to style and blow dry it, and she DESERVED that tip I gave her. Wow. I wish I had a before-and-after photo to show how much Abby Lauren transformed my hair! I…read moreoriginally went somewhere else for highlights and walked into Lalo with bleached, broken hair. I have naturally dark hair with dark root touch-ups, and at that point it was a mix of orange, brassy highlights and multiple tones. Abby Lauren and Bobby explained that I basically had 3-4 different colors in my hair -- some highlights had been toned, others hadn't. Instead of lightening it further and risking more damage, they focused on restoring my hair's health. They added some beautiful money pieces, recommended an emergency treatment, and gave me a much-needed haircut. My hair had so much breakage it looked like a little rat tail, but the cut completely transformed it! After the treatment, my hair felt thicker, stronger, and healthier. And can we talk about the vibe? The energy in the salon is amazing -- everyone is upbeat, the music is great, and you can even sip on a cocktail while you get your hair done. It's truly such a fun, feel-good experience from start to finish. I'm so happy to have found a salon that not only cares about hair health but makes you feel fabulous while you're there.
