Furthermore, if you write a negative yelp review (especially if you are a woman), the owner will can and bully you and threaten legal action if you don't take your review down. Class! Do yourself a huge favor and never take an animal to Tin Woof Inn.

Upon asking them pick up times for Sunday they said between 3pm and 6pm. I go to pick them up on Sunday and they charge me $28.00 extra for each dog, $52.00 for picking them up on a Sunday. I had called them previously many times to ensure pick up times and they NEVER, EVER once said it would be an extra charge for picking them up on Sunday. Never have I seen that before and I have boarded my dogs many places for travel. They said they were doing me a favor. HA! Right. Dogs were not happy upon return and they put their Harnesses on upside down and were pulling them with the leash attached under their bellies tripping them up. That's just poor training, communication and Management. What else are they doing behind closed doors to our animals?? Be careful of this place.

Let me start by saying that I have used Barnyard Grooming twice now; once for grooming, and once…read morefor boarding. My first experience was with grooming, and it was O.K., but even then not something I was sure I'd recommend to a friend or family member. The facilities are not very clean... this is however, something you may expect from a kennel if you have been to more than one in your life. I tried not to let this deter me after the first visit. The smell is overwhelming... Cat urine is the high note there, and just being in the building long enough to sign papers or drop off/pick up pets will leave you smelling for the drive home at minimum. I assumed, during the first visit, that maybe I had just caught them on a bad/busy day, and that it probably didn't smell so bad all of the time... boy was I wrong. Our second visit, kenneling over Memorial Day weekend, was significantly worse on all fronts: 1. They charge you BEFORE you are able to inspect your pets. Had I seen everything I am going to describe I would have had a hard time paying in full. THEN to add to this, I was overcharged, which I KNEW but kindly overlooked because I know that the youngest of the two dogs can be a handful. They charge 10 dollars a day to kennel. My dogs were the for 4 days, and I was charged 100 dollars. 2. There is no evidence that my dogs' diet was adhered too, even though I left food and feeding instructions. I was informed that both dogs came down with diarrhea 2 days before I came to pick them up... I would consider this urgent enough to contact pet owners about... no call was made to me when I was away. When I asked if their feeding schedule was kept, I was given a sheepish yes, but no one could tell me where the bag of food I left was, or where the measuring cup I left was either. I do not believe that they were fed the food I left, as further evidenced by the next issue 3.There was no regard for the belongings I left with them. You are required to fill out a card with contact info, personal belongings, etc...standard fare information... Yet upon pick up, they couldn't find my leashes either, which as it turns out were soaked in what I am assuming is urine, and were left in another kennel with different dogs whom I can only assume were walked with them. I didn't bring those leashes to be used on other pets, just mine. This makes me think that they probably mixed up foods too, and probably gave my dogs' food to someone else (I use Taste of the Wild... it's rather costly), and then just gave mine whatever they had lying around, causing the diarrhea. I understand that stress can also trigger stomach issues, but as the evidence starts to stack I can't imagine that is what caused it. 4.Signs of neglect. The very first thing I do, when kenneling my dogs is ask about their overall behavior while I was away. One is still basically a puppy, and he is let us say... spirited. When I asked however, if they were trouble, I was told that not only were they NOT trouble, but that they had no behavioural issues while I was gone at all. When I was leaving the building I noticed that both dogs had skinned noses, in the exact same spot. I immediately returned and asked if anyone knew how this had occurred. I was then told that they fought a lot and that must have been what caused it, but it looks more like they were hit or push around/ into things. I hate to throw that kind of an accusation around, but the amount of skin that is scraped off of the female's nose couldn't have been done by a bite. 5.Finally we return to the smell. I have never smelled a smell on my pets, such as the one they had upon pickup. They both has diarrhea caked to their tails, and smelled like cat urine and feces. It took me 2 hours to get them clean. I will never ever be taking my pets back for anything in the future, and in the event that they ever become a "last resort" for you, I recommend that you thoroughly inspect the premises and know what you are getting into ahead of time.
