No 1911 has a host of housewares, cool gift stuff, apothecary lines, dishes, decorations, men's clothing, women's clothing, art and more. It's almost a one-stop shop. The clothing, in fact, comprises only a small portion of the overall inventory. This is more of the kind of place to find unique things to outfit your stylin' flat or to grab that perfect gift. The brand selection is carefully crafted and deep, with offerings from some of the finest stuff form east to west coast. Staff is friendly, and you could spend an hour picking through all the cool shit that these folks have on offer. I say this is a must stop when you're in the area.

They had very well put together Christmas decorations already on full display, their trees were just gorgeous. The home-made (well, store-made, in their on site kitchen) fudge was terrific! I sampled the Maple, but wound up buying 1/4 lb of the Heavenly Hash - a chocolate base with all sorts of finely ground nuts. My boyfriend had a bite of the Butter Rum with Sea Salt, and said it was yummy, but I'm not a Sea Salt kinda person so I took his word for it. The friendly ladies behind the counter were helpful and pointed out some of the local items. I appreciated them taking the extra step of carefully wrapping my glass jar of jam before placing it in the bag. I only grabbed a small amount of the items I'll need before making a care package and send it out, so you can be sure I'll be back!

For several years I have been looking for a mirror to match a bedroom set I have and my husband found the PERFECT one at this store last week. He took a pic, sent it to me (we live in Boise-two hours away...) and I immediately fell in love with it!! It was PERFECT!!! He bought it...tried to fit it in the car-wouldn't fit...took the piece that had come off the top to show me and was told he could come back and pick it up with a different car. This store called him yesterday after he was already on his way back to Baker City (2 hour drive, remember?) and had taken the day off from work to say they had "mistakenly" sold it to him, that it had already been sold to someone else...!?!?! WHAT?!!??!? He had the receipt!!! He paid what the price said!! There was NO sold sign on it!!!! When he got to the store they tried to give him $50 to just walk away and when he refused full well knowing that there was something else going on, they tried to say he was an extortionist and that HE WAS IN THE WRONG!!!!! What kind of business does this??? I will NEVER shop here again!!! And I will tell everyone I know to do the same!! Unbelievable business practices... AND, I still don't have my mirror....:-(. I'm beyond angry!
