The food was good, the pizzas were not thick and one pizza per person was definitely filling. The pastas were huge, definitely worth the money paid. I went with the Gorgonzola and Caramelized Pears, which arrived topped with rocket ("arugula" in American) and ranch dressing plus a few roasted walnuts. Absolutely yummy. Like so many English pizzas I have enjoyed, they don't slice them which as an American I still find a little odd. Pizza just doesn't work well when eaten with a knife and fork. No matter, I figured out how to slice it and pick it up like the uncouth Yank I am. Everyone in the party enjoyed their dinner and the beers, the only downside was that they were out of pitchers which seemed unfair for us since my end of the table only wanted Pilsners. Oh well. Notes: outside seating on the first ("second") floor. The loos ("bathrooms") are on the basement level. They have stairs, but also a lift ("elevator") for those who need assistance.
