A traditional German country-town hotel, well located close to the centre of this little town, next to the church. Lots of dark wood panelling and dark furniture but you couldn't wish for a better place to rest overnight. A very pleasant and professional welcome from the barmaid and the receptionist, showing me where to park and getting my first beer ready whilst I put my stuff in my room! (Well it was a hot day!) in fact what drew me to the place were the pictures of the outside seating where you can drink and eat to your heart's content! I had the Gorgonzola tagliatelle (with strips of chicken breast and rucola on the side) and it was very tasty - but a large portion so couldn't quite eat it all! They've got a new menu coming next week so try it then maybe..? read more

Restaurant Bella im Hotel Amaris. Beide sind unbedingt ein Besuch wert. Das Restaurant ist unterteilt in Bar- und Restaurantbereich und geschmackvoll mit wechselnder Deko eingerichtet. In Vino Veritas & Dolce Vita sind hier zu Hause und sorgen für ein sehr entspanntes und angenehmes Ambiente. Hervorzuheben sind die ausgesucht gute Weinauswahl und eine moderne, mediterran inspirierte Speisekarte. Wir hatten einen erstklassigen, wenn auch riesigen, gut abgeschmeckten Salat mit Putenbrust und anschliessend ein Rumpsteak (medium-rare) und ein Zanderfilet. Beide Hauptgänge waren perfekt gegart und mit passenden Beilagen garniert. Auf einen Nachtisch mussten wir aus "Platzgründen" verzichten. Die Weinauswahl ist bestechend und von Kennern zusammen gestellt.
