I received about 450 photos total in my final collection and my contract was for approximately 300. There are a few that could have been left out completely though because of unflattering facial expressions at the moment the photo was taken. The photographers used decor around the location to compliment the photos giving them a special one-of-a-kind touch. I did not take the engagement session which is included in the wedding packages because I really wanted a little more time with the photographers at the event. In retrospect, I would definitely recommend that you do the e-session because it will help you look and pose better on your actual wedding day. It will also give you the opportunity for the both of you (bride & groom) to meet your photographer together and experience their style. Take your time to decide on your photographer and make sure you have a good relationship.

I hired her to shoot portraits of my parents and their 50th anniversary, but because I hate being photographed did my best to stay away from being in front of the camera. Two weeks ago, she finally got me. Took my first headshots. Sourced an affordable makeup artist (first time I'd let someone else do my makeup) and, while dealing with someone who loathes being in front of the camera and thinks she looks stoned and dead, managed to produce the most incredible headshots I've ever seen. I've been staring at them for weeks going "What wait? Is that really ME?" Like a fine wine, Shoshana's work has got better with age. And it was pretty darned terrific to begin with.
