When scheduling online, you have to pay a deposit to secure your date and time. After securing my appointment, I received an automatic email, which included my appointment information, her location and an outline of her Covid precautions. When I arrived at Salontra where her booth is located, I was greeted by a friendly man at the front desk. The gentleman asked me to sign-in and had me place my hand under a hand sanitizer station which was also a thermometer. After verifying my temperature, he walked me to the door and directed me to Candice's booth. When I walked into Candice's booth, she greeted me warmly and professionally. She asked me questions about my skin and explained the process. She briefly left the room for me to disrobe, but before she left, she told me to lay on the table under the blanket, get comfortable and relax. The soft decor of her booth and the music playing in the background relaxed me immediately. Candice has done a beautiful job with making her booth warm and inviting. The table I laid on was heated, which was prefect on this cold winter's day and mad my experience that much more enjoyable. Candice did a brief consultation on my face and explained the different steps in the Dermaplane Deluxe package I scheduled the got went to work on my face! She checked in on me throughout the service making sure I wasn't in any discomfort or pain. The facial was wonderful! I literally loved every second of it! The complimentary arm, hand and shoulder massage she gave was a welcomed addition. The products she uses left my face soft and refreshed. An overall pleasant experience. After my service was complete, she asked me if I had any questions and gave suggestions on after-care. She thanked me for my business and texted me both and after pictures of my skin. I am an avid tipper, especially when receiving outstanding services and Candice more than earned her tip today. I plan to schedule with her on a monthly basics and I think that you should too!

After waiting for 30minutes my 45minute appointment was cut short because I had another appointment thereafter. Against my better judgement I decided to return. Fast forward to my next appointment on Friday the 13th. I work in a healthcare environment and unfortunately was not able to leave work as it I was deemed essential personnel due to a NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS - COVID-19 and could not leave work. I was apologetic but the Salon chose to charge me anyway. I also had to reschedule my appointment with my personal trainer @getrightfitness. My trainer understood and rescheduled my appointment. He displayed true customer service. Unfortunately, my experience with this salon was subpar. Flexibility is expected by the customer when you are overbooked and have customers waiting for an unacceptable extended period of time. There seems to be a double standard and hypocrisy when a customer has a true emergency. I will not patronize this establishment ever again. It is just not worth it.
