The staff are so attentive and helpful. When I was giving my presentation, we needed a laptop because my Mac wouldn't work. They were so quick to come to the rescue. As soon as the meeting begings, they bring out the hot breakfast promptly and also provide a self-serve cereal station and toast/jam on the table. They will come by and offer tea and coffee and have water and orange juice at each table. I think it'd be a great place to have a function and I love the staircase that takes you upstairs. I really enjoy coming to this venue. The Brisbane Polo Club has a dress code of smart casual so that's important to keep in mind as well.

I have visited Kenan's thrice in a month and that should be revealing. I was very surprised at…read morethe authenticity of the food and it is similar to what you would find at the bazaars in Istanbul. Additionally, you cannot beat the $10 -12 price range for a reasonable portion of meat grills, salad, rice, Turkish bread. It exceeds the quality of the high end Turkish restaurants such as Mados and Ahameds in South bank. Kenans is located at Boundary st markets and they only operate during Fri, Sat and Sundays markets. Please be advised there are 3 different Turkish stalls at the market. I have tried the other two this is my recommended place.

It felt like part of the entertainment. It was like having your MKR at the party with no other competitor. I would highly recommend this style of catering for any party or get together scenario. Paco's Paella were both professional and efficient, and to top of, the flavour was amazing!!!!

Next Hotel is located in the heart of the CBD in the Queens Street Mall. We have had a chance to…read morestay a few days at an international brand hotel in the same area and in my opinion this hotel is much better value. The rooms are spacious and very modern. We got one of the rooms where they are testing their new in-room technology package. They will be rolling this out for all rooms very shortly. I found it very convenient and no real issues or glitches. Everything is controlled by a tablet - lights, temperature, etc. The TV has Apple Airplay and smart tech. There is a list of free movies as well. As an added bonus you get 4 free mini-bar items for every night you stay (i am not sure if this is a limited time promotion?). The location is excellent and their food options are great. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the check in was efficient. Top notch service. I would have given it a 5 star rating except the parking situation isn't ideal. In the area parking is an absolute premium and the Queens Park area is pedestrian only. It took us a little while to find the self park. It was a little annoying but the rest of the hotels attributes made up for it. They do have valet which we normally use but we were not going in and out on this particular visit so we opted for the self park option. Overall excellent option in Brisbane. I recommend it!

I've stayed at NEXT twice now and have to say it's got a lot going for it, including a terrific…read morelocation, great guest amenities like a big lounge area to work and play in. The rooms themselves are new and slick and the phone-remote controller for everything in room is clever but sometimes hard to use when you're tired and can't remember how to do things like turn off lights and aircon! The room rate is really quite reasonable for this standard of hotel and they win the hearts of those who stay here with special extras like free tea and coffee in the lounge area, a "we trust you" mini bar (including 4 freebies per day!) and sleep pods if you need a little pick-me-up during the day (still haven't tried them, damnit!) My only criticism: the set up of NEXT is supposed to be seamless and more self-serve. I guess the idea is kind of like the supermarkets that now have self check-out, so you can check yourself in and out of NEXT without ever needing to speak to a human. The problem I see though, just like the supermarkets, is that when you need help or actually want to speak to a human, they're not always that friendly. You really could stay here without interacting with another human, and that I feel is a bit sad. It's set up with the business traveller in mind (free wifi, work areas, places for meetings etc which is awesome) but as a businesses traveller sometimes you want a friendly face to greet you when you come "home" at night and to perhaps remember your name. In the age of technology, have we forgotten the art of human customer service?
