I asked to get a pre-purchase inspection by an ASE certified mechanic shop prior to buying a car. Bell refused, stating that they stand behind their mechanics. Bought a 2012 Buick Verano from Bell nine months ago and everything during the purchase went very smoothly. However, a short 4,000 miles/ less than 6 months in the engine burnt up (not even 70,000 miles on the car). Took it in to a service shop to have it repaired just to find out that along with the engine the front breaks also needed to be repaired. The car most definitely was not driven enough to have such costly issues. After the fix not even two months later the engine burnt up yet again. We tried to contact Bell on 7 different occasions and only got a response twice. There was no willingness to discuss the situation and offered no help by saying "we met our responsibilities". I would caution people to look elsewhere than Bell. The purchasing process was just fine, but aftermarket service was atrocious- unfortunately, all the fears we had as a used car purchaser came true after purchasing from Bell. read more
