Fun festival put on by the Washington Brewers Guild, celebrating Belgian style beers!
I bought my boyfriend tickets to the Belgian Fest, an annual event that occurs in Seattle, since Belgian style beers are his favorite. Although I'm not huge on Belgian beers, I still had a fun time and did find some crafts that I enjoyed.
The Belgian Fest was held at the Fisher Pavilion building at Seattle Center. The space was large for the event, which was especially nice since it brought crowds. Although the event had several people, the only time you feel super cramped was near where the vendors were because people congregated in front of the tables even if they weren't in line. (Annoying as hell!) But other than that, the venue was good for this type of event. There were also restrooms located on both ends of the room, which was super convenient. I never had to wait in line unlike at other beer festivals. For food there were a few food trucks parked right outside the building and you could bring the food inside.
For tickets it was $35 for 10 tokens and at the door, it was $45. Not sure if it sells out, but would recommend getting tickets ahead of time due to the upcharge the day of. You also get a souvenir glass with. Selection of vendors was good, all being from around Washington. I found some favorites and found some not so favorites. But overall, it was a fun festival, even for this IPA-drinker. I would recommend to check it out, if you're particularly interested in Belgian style crafts. read more
