When you enter the old city by St Michael's Bridge you will immediately be confronted with three towers rising above the roofs of the other buildings, and the belfrey happens to be one of them. I have since realised that while all the churches tend to have steeples, or towers, the town hall also has one, which happens to be termed the Belfry. As it turns out the town hall was rather small, and the most significant part of it is the belfry. You can travel to the top, and they even have an elevator, but unfortunately my brother wasn't too keen on making the trip. read more
