She and her husband came promptly and unlocked my door to get me back into my house. I've never done this before but am so thankful they were so nice and professional! Also, I want to mention, during the process of applying for this home, all the staff was so helpful and attentive and made my move so easy. Any time I call their office office for any maintenance issues, their team has a quick response time and always gets it done on the first request! I highly recommend this co. In fact, when I decide to buy a property in this area, I will use this co for the sale. They won me over with their on-going professionalism and grateful they helped me out of this sticky situation today! Thanks again LCL!

This was done by this management company....only to turn around and try to rent if for a few hundred dollars more!!! The individual who lived there has an excellent credit rating and consider the age of the home, it was well maintained. They did not give a reason for not renewing her lease. Which they are suppose to. Imagine finding out that this management company does not know how section 8 works and the laws that protect individuals from such actions from managment companies. Imagine ousting a senior citizen who is disabled, a section 8 recipient and just wanted a place to live peacefully no reason given.... Horrible company, horrible business morals and ethics. Buyer, renter, beware.

Property owner here, I would AVOID this business. Our property was rented for 7 years to a family…read more We requested no pets. Vickie convinced me to allow it. My mistake. The family had an old dog and a $500 pet deposit in case of damage. "Yearly visual inspections" were supposedly done by Vickie and PASSED. Renters contacted me directly for repairs: plumbing issues, replace a stove, sprinklers etc. I always responded to all repairs that day and contacted my list of repair people. I wanted to replace the old wooden garage door and roof but tenants preferred it to stay as is. After 7 years I wanted to sell property. Asked Vickie to give notice. Tenants wouldn't leave. They claimed they couldn't find anything in their price range. I had to start eviction notice process. Vickie finds the family another home to rent. Another property she manages. After going into my property and seeing the destruction, black mold, garbage, dishes, furniture including a piano( that fell apart as soon as it was moved), rugs torn to shreds, old motor oil spilled on1/3 of the garage floor, rafters full of tenants belongs, I couldn't believe how destroyed my former home was. Of course the rugs and and paint would be replaced before selling but all the junk and cleaning took weeks to haul away and finish. Knowing the tenants did this much damage to my property and Vickie placed them in another poor unknowing owners home. Tells me it is all about the money.

Poplar Homes is a terrible property management company. I only give them 1 star, because they do…read morenot allow 0 stars. If you ever hire them, they will not cooperate when you cancel their services. They have terrible customer service and should not be allowed to manage people's properties. I work for a property management company, HCM Property Management, and I have never talked negatively about another property management company. However, my repeated negative experiences with Poplar Homes compels me to leave a negative review. Our client, a homeowner of 16 properties, terminated his management agreement with Poplar Homes in late August. For the last 30+ days, both the owner and HCM Property Management have repeatedly asked Poplar Homes to provide the information for the 16 properties that Poplar Homes has sole possession of, including the leases, lease renewals, active work orders, tenant contact information (phone, email), tenant ledgers, etc.), and other relevant information. Again, Poplar Homes has the sole possession of all this information; they have never shared it with the owner. Exchanging such information is a normal transaction that competing property managers conduct, since the outgoing property manager solely maintains such information. Both the owner and HCM Property Management have emailed Poplar homes on numerous occasions requesting the information, to no avail. HCM talked on the phone to 5 separate representatives from Poplar Homes, including an Escalation Specialist, and none of them have any knowledge regarding how to transfer the information. During the phone conversations, HCM Property Management had repeatedly requested to be transferred to the representative's manager, but they refused and hung up the phone. My experience with Poplar Home's customer service is the worst customer service I have ever encountered in any industry. It is now the 10th of October and none of our client's tenants know that HCM Property Management is their new property manager because Poplar Homes has intentionally failed to provide the contact information of the tenants. (HCM has posted Notices on the doors of each of the properties and mailed each of the properties the information about HCM taking over the management of the properties, to no avail. The Notices are not addressed to any specific individual, as they probably appear to be suspicious and/or SPAM.) Be forewarned, Poplar Homes is a terrible company. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

Ashley and Jessica not only advised me what I needed to do to get my property ready for to become a rental, after visiting my property but they made themselves available for any questions or concerns I might have that included up to 10:00pm at night. (0 Star)** My…read moreexperience with Access Asset Management began on a positive note, but it steadily declined due to what I believe was a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and repeated failures to handle time-sensitive matters appropriately. Several issues that required prompt attention were delayed or mishandled, creating unnecessary stress and putting my housing situation at risk. The most concerning part of my experience involved the handling of our Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) lease termination request. My brother, an active-duty U.S. Marine, received military orders requiring relocation. Access Asset Management received his official military orders, a letter from the U.S. Marine Corps, and documentation supporting my status as his dependent. Adam spoke directly with his Staff Sergeant, he openly admitted to the staff Sergeant that they believed I was a liar. It just goes to show the level of professionalism these people carry. Despite receiving this information, our request was denied. Throughout the process, I felt that the matter was not reviewed with the level of care, objectivity, or understanding that an SCRA request deserves. Instead of relying on the documentation provided, decisions appeared to be made without fully evaluating the facts. After he admittedly stated he was not qualified to make said decision or a "forensic analyst" to properly assess the documents. He still continued to make that choice anyway. Mind you I have a degree in finance and work under a CFO for a nonprofit foundation where my day-to-day tasks include budgeting expenses, as well as internal audits...This forced us into a lengthy dispute that could have been avoided with proper diligence. I made every effort to resolve the matter professionally and without legal action. I organized the documentation, provided detailed explanations, and attempted to work collaboratively toward a resolution. Unfortunately, I consistently felt dismissed rather than heard. Another disappointing aspect was the level of professionalism displayed during communications. Adam is definitely a business owner that thrives and functions off of ego and emotion rather than logic; there is no real sense of humanity, compassion, empathy, and or justice unfortunately. Rather than focusing on resolving legitimate concerns, there were comments that I found dismissive and unprofessional, including assumptions that my communications were simply generated by ChatGPT instead of addressing the substance of the issues I raised. In the end, it is completely okay because life goes around and I pray and hope that his children or family never have to experience the level of treatment he expressed onto me and my family. But you also cannot go through life harming others, taking advantage of any one's pure intentions, profiting off of others misfortune or simply being a distasteful person and expect to go unscathed in this life. Another important thing to note is their office manager and coordinator renewal agent, are for lack of better word, lazy. They often drop the ball on time sensitive matters & don't fact check before responding to any email. I apologize for the words that make come off harshly, but simply it seems that they're a bunch of low-level intelligence people in that office including the administrative assistant but enjoy to speak in condescending tones. I believe property management companies have a responsibility to understand the laws they are enforcing, particularly when those laws involve protections for active-duty military members and their families. If a company is unsure how to process an SCRA request, it should seek appropriate legal guidance rather than making decisions that could adversely affect military families. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Access Asset Management--especially to active-duty military members or their families. I hope the company improves its training, communication, and understanding of federal protections so future tenants do not have to go through the same experience.
