When I contacted him 6 weeks ago, I had no idea I had a prior piss-poor experience with him. I only found out I contacted him before when I texted him 6 weeks ago and a few texts from two years ago showed up in the conversation history. He flaked on me 2 years ago also. I called him in November and said I wanted my place leveled because I'm having new vinyl plank flooring put in. He told me he would look at his schedule and call me the following Monday. The call never came. I waited another week. I started blowing up his phone because I despise flakes. My last text was "Wednesdays are good". So what does he do? The next Wednesday, without calling, he sends someone out. I'm not even home at the time, you want to know why? My Mom died that day and I was meeting with my family. I get a call from Caleb that someone from his "company" is at my home. I get home and the guy starts taking off the skirting and spends about 45 minutes checking everything out. The guy then tells me my place is off 4 inches in some places and 8 inches in others but he can't start today because he doesn't have the materials. He said he'd call Caleb and give me an estimate. Caleb then calls me and says he'll get back to me with an estimate, but for now, pay the guy's gas, $200! My Mom died unexpectedly 5 hours before this so I'm not in a great frame of mind. I ask for the fee again and he repeats $200. So I ask the guy do you take a credit card or can I zelle you? He said No, he needs cash. He wants me to drive to the local liquor store and pay another $10 in fees to pay this now obviously minor league, crooked company. Anyway I get him the money. Now let's get to the estimate of the work. If my home was off level by 6-8 inches, the skirting around my place would have buckled, bent, and sure as hell wouldn't look perfect. The wall in my home would be cracked. Kitchen cabinets wouldn't stay shut, it would be real obvious that my home wasn't level. OPM is a shyster. I bet the guy makes a living without ever actually doing any work, just collecting gas money. Do not use this company unless you like talking to bullshit artists and hate your money.

The follow-up customer service has been disappointing, unfortunately…read more After waiting several months to have leaks in my new awnings addressed, and after experiencing multiple rainfall events that clearly demonstrated the system installed by Home Improvements by Tim Allard is not adequately configured to handle the water load, I contacted the office and sent several text messages to Tom. Unfortunately, the response time for follow-up service has been extremely delayed--measured in months rather than days or weeks. The gutters on the awnings installed by Home Improvements by Tim Allard overflow significantly during normal rainfall. Before purchasing and installing the two 62-foot awnings, I specifically asked whether the system would be capable of handling the expected surface water runoff. I was assured that it would. However, it does not. Eventually, Scott returned to inspect the issue and acknowledged both the overflow problem and the need for an additional downspout. I purchased these awnings with the expectation that they would include a complete and properly designed drainage system capable of performing their intended function. I am now being told that I must pay an additional expense to install the downspouts necessary to make the system function adequately. This is not what I was originally told, and it raises a concerning question: Why would a system be sold and installed if it was not sufficient for the job from the start? I trusted Home Improvements by Tim Allard to provide a complete solution. Instead, the project remains incomplete, and I am left with overflowing gutters--a problem that did not exist with my previous system. I believe this issue should be corrected without additional cost to me, as the current configuration does not meet the expectations that were established at the time of sale. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly.

Duffy (Robert Duffy) came out with his crew of 2 promptly within a couple of days & answered all of our questions, addressed our concerns about the home being on dirt, asphalt & concrete & the different levels of the 2 parts of the house & he was able to do the roof very neatly, add the correct pitch to the roof for drainage & made sure that there would be no future water damage. It is called a roof over & is a white aluminum roof with drip rails that he actually fabricated himself. There is foam under the roof & is quiet, sealed, very neat looking, guaranteed for life & is done with 2 large pieces of solid aluminum with a ridge cap down the middle that connects the 2 halves of the home & it is sealed with industrial polymers that you can't just buy at the local hardware store. Robert is the owner & he goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable without being pushy at all, he actually is up there on the roof doing the work himself with 2 other workers. He really cares about people & making you feel comfortable. After all that being said, he gave the cheapest price & actually did the complete job in 2 days & arranged for the inspector to come out at our convenience. To me, he is the last of a breed of Americans that say what they do & do what they say, go above & beyond & is involved in the entire process & building of whatever it is they will be doing to your home. He expresses great care in his responsibility & high quality of the work, customer satisfaction at a shockingly fair price that undercut the other quotes that I got from 2 other roofers by $3,000 each quote. The other quotes also said that it would take them 2 weeks to do the job & that there would be additional fees for inspectors! Good Lord, Duffy's Mobile Home Repair is a breath of fresh air! I am so grateful for him & his crew. Thank You so much Robert, you are honest & did a fantastic job. We are so relieved to have a roof! So let it rain California, we are ready!

First back in 2022 I contacted them for leveling estimate. They never showed up. I wrote a bad review, they claimed to give me a free leveling. Flash forward to 2024, I need a leveling again. When they come out for the estimate they claim I need all this foundation repair. I said ok. Lots of petty issues with that work but I'll make this as short and to the point as possible. They sad it would be a one day job - took 2 days. Without even making sure that was ok. Took 2 guys to level my house but only one guy to replace most of the foundation. Dude came and asked what i needed done and said he only was told what parts he needed and not exactly what to do. He also never checked inside that it was level. So my assumption is that something being done under the house tells him it's level. Nope. Days later the same signs that prompted me to get a relevel are still there. Poor communication by the owner especially given my very first experience has them show up when I'm not home. I was told they would reach out to reschedule. They never did. They ignored my messages and never returned my phone calls. So that brings me to negative review number 2. I get contacted and acting like they really care and it was all a misunderstanding. Guys come out. Supposedly take care of the leveling. Now my whole laundry room floor is squeaking and creaking like never before. So they come out again. Becomes apparent that there is no "leveling". There is just putting things under the floor so no noise is being made. Now my main entrance door will not shut properly and lock. It's been a very frustrating experience. And I don't want to have to have them come out again and basically make it worse I'm starting to get cracks in my walls. I don't believe the customer should have to walk around the entire house and shut an lock all the doors to tell if it's level. There should be some type of actual measurement done. And the very least the worker should be the one testing the floors and doors This has been a total waste of almost $4000 and I firmly believe my level issue is worse due to the replacement of the piers and such under my house. Wholeheartedly wish I had never contacted this company. I take my elite badge seriously and I am truly disappointed that I got duped into removing my previous reviews. But I can not in good conscience support or recommend this company. And it makes you wonder how many of these good reviews were actually negative experiences that got guilted into changing by "free services" or fake customer service
