Jewish and Christian first time visitors alike commented that they have never felt so welcomed, experienced such a positive energy and learned so much at a Shabbat service. They loved the children's choir, they loved the of Cantors' music (yes, there were more than one), they loved interplay between the three Rabbis and they felt uplifted and educated. While most people know that Jew and Christian alike praise God by chanting Hallelujah, it struck me how many people after the service said they have never had so much fun shouting Hallelujah and learning that it is an English transliteration of the Hebrew words for "praise" and "God." Seeing Temple Judea through their eyes was a welcome reminder that I should never take this special place for granted.

Unfortunately, I have had uncomfortable experiences with the congregation leader, a controlling demeanor by offering to introduce a new family to the community, with the ultimatum, of only after greeting him, when arriving in the morning, which I would prefer to say Shacharit before friendly communication and against my requested preference, the congregation leader has greeted me during repetition of the Shemoneh Esrei, which is a time of silence, out of respect to the Supreme Being.
