A unique site you won't find anywhere else, this small reverent sacred space is tucked away up the hill by the Catholic church on the hill. While there were plenty of tourists in town when we went, not too many of them seemed to be coming up to see this, but I could see it becoming overwhelmed in busier months.
There is a small fee and it really is just one small room that you may only need five minutes at most to see it and show your respects to the centuries of Hallstatt's civilians who are buried here. read more
