Ok it wouldn't make a great first date but what kebab house would The guys in there are great and often bicker among themselves giving the customers a good show. The food is definitely food There is the regular kebab, and chicken kebab and the usual selection of burgers, chips and chicken but you have to go for the their large kebab, a little salad, soaking in their spicy sauce I'm not sure what's in it but its real good. If you're ever stumbling around Felixstowe that Kebab hankering gets you Hit the Bodrum Grill House, rain, shine, morning, noon or night as they will always be happy to serve.

All the food is home made and where possible from local suppliers, including what may well be the greatest 'Scotch Egg' in Britain, well worth a try. The bread and rolls were fresh and full of flavour. My wife enjoyed a ham salad granary sandwich whilst I enjoyed my Scotch Egg with a prawn roll. Generously filled and proper flavour served in recyclable paper bags. Although we did not on this occasion try the salad selection they looked fantastic, all home made, fresh, a large choice with some inovative ideas (The special of the day being 'Chilli Tuna sandwich filling) We know that next time we are in Felixstowe we will be making another visit to this oasis of good service.

There are 2 counters so at peak periods queues move very quickly and efficiently. They cook some superb scotch eggs! A wide range of breads and rolls is availble and salads are an option too. A few hot items are on offer and sandwiches etc are packed in paper bags rather than those horrid plastic ones! There are the usual chilled drinks chocolates and crisps and some cakey things each day. The shop is open until 3pm each day and there is free parking outside on the road for half and hour.

The establishment is great, there is a lot of room to sit and wait, a big tv, a great selection of papers and magazine and you can also buy little things like soy sauce whilst you are there. You could be fooled that this is just a takeaway if you rush past it but give it a chance and you will find the food is great, the service is personal and the prices are better than you expect.

Unlike fast food chains, your food is served on plates and you eat with knives and forks (for a refreshing change). They do a mean cup of tea and a pork rib on a bun (especially when its BBQ) so if you want a quick stop for a cuppa and a burger then give it a go. Prices are reasonable but are just above that of McDonalds and Burger King, but obviously they are less than 'proper' restaurants. I waited for around 10 minutes, and the food wasn't too great, price was also out of range and I could have gone to McDonalds, for better quality food.
