This spot was recommended by an Exeter local, so I went to check it out. For a smaller town in the UK, I really wasn't expecting much - and Beijing Beijing indeed just barely met my standards.
The place was small, and was very busy during dinner time. They serve hot pot, which the local Cantonese and Chinese students seem to frequent. I was a solo traveler and not so hungry, so I ordered the braised pork instead. I found the food to lack flavor, which was very disappointing to me. Also, the sign that says cash only was frustratingly small. There is an ATM down the street if that helps though. read more
