Our time at ABC was amazing for the 2.5 years were we there, until it was time for my son to be…read moredischarged to full time kindergarten. When you first get evaluated they claim the goal is to get your child discharged, but this is absolutely not the case. This company makes it almost impossible to graduate your child to a full time school setting, and instead of doing a slow reduction of hours and what would be best for my son, they abruptly ended his care with a 30 day notice. All because we feel our child is ready for kindergarten and they don't because, wait for it, he grinds his teeth. They do not value or care about your child here. (And I don't mean the staff that work with the kids day to day, they are amazing people. By "they" I mean upper management). They only care about the full time hours that money will bring in, taking full advantage of vulnerable parents. And as for Carly Vaccarello, I'm not sure how she's still in charge after referring to our child as a business transaction. I've talked to other families who've had a similar experience with Carly, and she does not conduct herself in a professional manner, nor does she support parents in their decisions for their children. Run FAR AWAY!

I had a pretty bad experience with therapists as a child through a family member's therapy…read moresessions. I had avoided therapy ever since thinking that it just wasn't my thing, while taking meds through my primary care for anxiety and depression. When I had a major panic attack while with my daughter I knew I needed to do something more for my mental health. I did a couple of in person meetings with therapists I found online (because if there is something I hate more than the idea of talking to someone, it's talking to someone on video/phone), but I finally contacted Amanda, even though their office was strictly telehealth at that time. She did not have a spot in her schedule when I needed it, but after talking to me she suggested I talk to Megan. I hit it off with Megan right away, and felt SO comfortable, even while being on telehealth! (We actually still do telehealth, even though the office is doing in person appointments now!) Megan's sessions don't start with a deep dive into your childhood, and she just organically works through what you need at this moment, while connecting it to your past experiences. Through Megan I realized I had ADHD and I honestly do think therapy has changed my life. I feel like a much better wife, mother and person having gone through this and being able to work through what I need to. To go from being anti-therapy to trying to talk everyone I know into therapy says a lot about finding the right therapist and connecting to them. While Megan may not be the one you connect with, Inner Balance does a great job connecting you with a therapist that will help you in the way you need it. If you are looking for a place to start your search, I recommend Inner Balance Wellness with my whole being!

The consultation is just them filling out your paperwork to bill your insurance for the that visit. Then they schedule u for another consultation where I am sure they would bill your insurance again. Thats when I said enough and because my insurance paid them I was refunded the $39. Wonder how many people know about the $39 refund? Fastest refund I ever got and all they said was I must not have heard that part of the program. LOL,

Dr Aimee practically laughed in our faces when we came to her for help in a consultation session…read more She wanted me to gang up with her on my partner, while she smiled cheerfully the whole time. She referred us to her cohort, Colin Ryan, and because we felt invested in getting help, we went to a session with him. He interrupted several times, jumping from topic to topic, joking about being on ADHD meds and inappropriate personal details of his romantic life. Nonetheless, we gleaned some insights from him and even more from his ridiculously inadequate handouts, shucked at us without explanation, once we had researched them online. We returned well in advance for a 7 pm appointment at great personal cost (they are far away and 7 pm is not convenient for our schedules), only to find the office locked and dark. No one has offered any explanation and no one answers the phone there when we call. No responses to voicemails, emails, or texts. Nothing! The office has ghosted us. How incredibly unprofessional from beginning to end. Avoid this place at all costs. They are not caring people but psychopaths themselves. Read all the bad reviews! It is likely that many if not most of the good ones were largely posted by coerced employees, relatives, and friends, as happens when people are running a fleecing station. Dr Aimee, the owner, is a PR person first and foremost; she just talks a good talk.
