The owners, Lisa and Frank, were very kind and personable. We had the MacPherson room, and it was very cozy. With the weather quite hot, it was nice to arrive to an air conditioned room. The bed was comfy, and everything was immaculate. We appreciated their attention to detail, leaving chocolate mints by the bed and keeping the room stocked with DVDs. They also offer a laptop hooked up with internet, as well as wi-fi access, which is great if you're traveling far from home. The breakfast was wonderful! We had a seasonal fruit salad, along with fresh belgian waffles with berries and whipped cream. We will definitely be back to Revelstoke, so we'll be seeing Lisa and Frank again one day!

Its a clean hotel love the rooms we get which our the two bedroom suite have a washer and drier, fireplace two balconies and full kitchen. They have room service, on site restaurant which I posted review about! Down hill biking which my husband loved. PIPELINE roller coaster was incredible scary but fun! My 6 year old and 10 loved it! Going up the gondola to the very top you can walk around and hike and onsite food and treats up there. They have shops, liquor store no need to leave the resort. The pool is great and have a hot tub on the 3 floor which is out doors which is very cool. Overall I will highly recommend to check it out if you are in the area.

The front desk was attentive and helpful and the hotel manager took the time to answer a few questions that we had. The hotel itself is newly remodeled and has a homey, modern feel. Our room was clean and cute and our beds were comfortable. It is centrally located to the town - a 3 minute walk! - that has awesome restaurants and coffee and live entertainment. They even offer a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. We will be back the next time we head out this way!

The…read morerooms were updated and clean, the place was quiet, but it is a bit of an odd duck--or ostrich even--of incongruity in its feel and vibe. It feels like a classic railroad era hotel but it's decorated in a strange Chinese dynastic era feel yet also hosts an Aussie work visa ski bar next door and a fast food hot wing restaurant that evokes Whistler Village after last call. I'm not sure what this mashup block it is trying to be, but it's not doing any of those four visions extremely well. It's fine, just really odd right down to the antique Chinese furniture that is too valuable to sit on in the lobby. There is also a strange cheapness with the television package, which does not have cable but a free version of Roku that doesn't have any tv stations you'd expect in a hotel like TSN or the CBC. I've seen this in VRBOs but never in an actual hotel. A fine place to stay but I'm choosing more wisely next time.

The staff? Young, sunburnt, and unmistakably from Down Under. The kind of folks who came for a season, fell in love with the mountains, and never found a reason to go home. They're easy going, genuinely friendly, and make you feel less like a guest and more like you just wandered into a house party that's been going since last winter - just kidding, or am I? hmm... Inside, there's a cozy fireplace that doubles as the heart of the bar and lounge--where conversations can stretch late and stories may grow taller with every round. The restaurant seating is intimate, the kind of tight squeeze that makes you talk to your neighbours and maybe moreythan IG handles are exchanged. Insert winky-emoji here. Rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully done. The bathrooms feel fresh and new, and the mattresses--mercifully--are actually comfortable, a rarity in mountain towns. You sleep well here, and you wake up wanting to chase something--powder, trails, or powdered jelly doughnuts - I'm the latter. Sure, come peak season the rates will probably soar like everything else in this town--but if they stay within reason, VRGE is worth coming back to. CHEERS!

Sharie is such a beautiful soul and is one of the kindest humans I have ever met. My husband and I have stayed with Sharie 3 times now, and are never disappointed. We feel very much at home when we visit. There is nothing that we would change. The breakfast is always wonderful and is created with so much love and attention to detail. Sharie's husband does a fantastic job of creating delicious food and caters to all dietary needs. We are so grateful to have landed in Revelstoke back a few summers ago as we made attempts to escape the forest fires.
