Arrived on time. Honored quoted price. Completed no hassle excellent workmanship. Cleaned up after job

Had Alex tepair toilet and replace hot water heater today. Very satisfied. Also he always cleans up.

Showed up on time and protected our carpeted stairs for removing the old water heater and bringing in the new one. Recommended that we replace the saddle valve for the humidifier with a new valve which caused a leak. They immediately returned and resolved the issue. This is why I only use local plumbers who can return quickly if necessary. read more

Friday the 13th!!! Our shower faucet broke off as my husband was showering and water was just running everywhere! We had to turn off the main water line. In a panic called first number google gave me. Called and who I spoke to took my name and number and within minutes I got a call from Alex. Explained what happened and he told me an approximate price but he said you know what I am in the area. I can swing by and take a look no service fee just to take a look. He came and after taking a look he gave me options. He would have to remove the tile since the piece he needed to turn off the faucet was broken. He gave it some thought and said you know what let me brainstorm. He grab some tools and went to work. He said I will see what I can do to get the water off at least for right now since you have a little one at home and you need water. He was so NICE!! He got it fixed!!! He explained all he did yo get it to work. He fixed it and even fixed the way the faucet was placed as it was originally placed incorrectly pointing at the temperature wrong. Alex went above and beyond!! He could have easily said I can't do anything right now and make a service call later. But he went above and beyond for us! I will definitely call him for my next plumbing needs! It's not very often you can trust companies as most are out for your money but he was kind and genuine! read more

I recently moved into a new condo in Chicago and needed light fixtures installed, a faulty outlet checked out, a couple of wiring issues screened and some dimmers replaced in my nearly 100 year old building. Everything was very smooth and professional. I was given good advice and was very impressed with communication and responsiveness. They were right on time and were concerned that I was satisfied. They left my home spotless. I am a happy customer. read more

I've used both the electrical and plumbing. My condo had a horrible electrical issue that involved the city and Com Ed and Igor and Bee Zee Electrical saved the day and saved our condo a boatload of money (more than 80k). Bee Zee plumbing is just as good. They've been our condo electrical and plumbing for a while, but recently I had 1 electrical issue for my unit and Igor's guys figured it out and fixed it fast, and 2 individual plumbing issues, one horrible one small, and Alex (owner) and Tyler (really good plumber) worked way beyond the call of duty to fit me in and get the job done well and for a fair price. I can't say enough good things about Bee Zee. I'm going to do a kitchen remodel soon and they are the first place I'll call. Just FYI - they've both (plumbing and electrical) given me advice that saved me money and cost them money - very honest. read more

Alex M. from BeeZee Plumbing is an excellent plumber. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable and transparent, explaining everything he is doing. I would hire Alex any time and recommend him to help you with any plumbing needs you may have. read more

Alex of Beezees sent out someone to rod our sewer and they got their rod stuck and said we needed $5,800 to get it out and "fix" our sewer! I called the village of Mundelein and they sent a crew to scope the line and they said there were only roots no damage and the company should have removed their line because it is only 22 inches from the cleanout. That cleanout was only 2 feet deep but he quoted me at where his rod was "stuck" which was 9 feet down and would require street work and permits... When I talked to the rodding company owner, Ramon & Sons, and told him the facts he said, because we were white and he was not that we were accusing him of being dishonest. The race card! So having the facts from the village and another plumbing company I gave Ramon the option to get his rod out and finish the job and he will get paid or I will have someone else get it out and I will charge him. After a few choice words from Ramon that he wasn't going to f***ing pay he eventually sent a crew to finish the job. It took them 10 minutes to get their stuck rod out! 10 minutes. The same rod they were going to charge my $5,800. 10 minutes. He was paid his original fee. Is he dishonest or bad at his job? I would never recommend Beezees or Ramon & Sons. I have left messages for Alex, the owner of Beezees. He refuses to call me back. Since he won't call I can only assume he must support such actions if he sends people like this out to his customers. Trust but verify. We did and they were caught. Thanks to the village of Mundelein for protecting their residents! read more

Garbage disposal needed to be replaced as it was causing a terrible leak. Alex came out and replaced it quickly.

Igor and his crew were tremendous in fixing a problem that a poor contractor did installing a poor HVAC system. When we got hit with our 2 weeks of below zero weather my pipes in a 2 year old house FROZE He and his crew came out immediately and solved the problem by installing electric radiators. What a brilliant solution! After they were done my furnace didn't have to kick in for days. My home was warm and toasty and no more frozen pipes. They were very cognizant of COVID requirements and were very friendly. Highly recommend them. read more

We hired BeeZee Electrical to add outlets and lights in our unfinished basement to accommodate exercise equipment. It was the first time using them. Took only a few minutes to convey what we wanted done and get a quote. It was determined a larger panel would be required. They arrived on time with 4 guys so as to complete the job in one day. After about an hour, two of them got called away for an emergency. Thus we were informed it would take another day to complete. I scrambled and got another day off work. Then, late in the day, without me asking, one of the guys informed me they were going to stay late to finish the job that day. They must have overheard me arranging the day off. They were done before 6 pm so not sure when they would have normally stopped for the day but I was pleased. That's dedication to pleasing the customer. They cleaned up everything before leaving. Quick and efficient at a very reasonable price. Would definitely use them again. read more

I wasn't expecting for them to help me with my issue, but I was pleasantly surprised. I needed to get a water filtration system installed but my main pipes are located under my house in my crawl space. Simply put, you actually have to crawl in my crawl space and it's a maze because of the way the foundation was laid out. The last time I tried to get to my pipes, it took me half an hour to crawl to them and it was not fun. Alex was able to get in there and get the pipes extended so that the filtration system could be installed. When he told me it was finished in a few hours, I almost couldn't believe it. Not bad at all and the price was good too. If Alex can handle my nightmare, then I'm assuming that any other simpler issue would be easy and quick. I'll be calling again in the summer for help with my irrigation system. Thanks Alex! read more

BeeZee Plumbing - Electricians Near Me - Mundelein, Illinois

Ok so this is an update from our previous review. We had a clogged sink that wouldn't unplug from every homeowner effort I could throw at it. I then called Alex. He sent Tyler, his understudy, to investigate. Tyler ran his big plumber machines down 45 ft. He explained he felt an obstruction and expected it to be broken up. Two days went by with no issues; then it plugged again. NOW this is where BeeZee shines. Tyler showed at 7:50am (said he'd be there at 8) and walking up to me with a smile and assurance said "I know what it is, and I know what to do." He talked with us about his approach to the problem calmly and confidently. I actually heard a "KLUMP" sound as his machine removed whatever the heck was there. He triple checked his work, draining three times until he was satisfied. I was next to him the whole time and felt very satisfied with his conclusion. Folks this is a diamond star, family owned, small business phone call you won't regret. Thanks Alex and Tyler! read more

In regard to BeeZee Plumbing. Honest fast service. There was water ceiling damage on my main floor, with the leak source unknown. Alex came out the same day, identified the highly probable source, and presented me with the most affordable options to fix the issue. He kindly put a good estimate range of cost, and did not pressure me into purchasing additional services. I would definitely recommend BeeZee Plumbing to family and friends. read more

Fixed 2 toilets. Replaced one toilet. Put in a new kitchen faucet. Had a leak from the bathroom into the family room. They cut a whole in the ceiling but of course when they were here it did not leak. They were prompted and nice. I would recommend. Expensive but no different than others. read more

Have used them twice for emergency calls. They are responsive, quick and professional.

Is this place for real? On time, nice, honest and professional. Even took the time to explain what they were doing and walk us through the repairs. Also gave us lots of great maintenance tips. Will definitely use them again. read more

This review is for BeeZee Plumbing. The plumber from BeeZee ("Alex") arrived exactly on time today to install two new American Standard faucets and our master bathroom (that I had purchased from Home Depot), as well as re-caulk each of the under-mounted sinks. Alex was extremely courteous and a very neat and professional job. Entire process took about 1.5 hours. I would definitely use BeeZee again for plumbing work. Their price to do the work was competitive with other companies. And if their plumbers smoke or swear your home, do not wear shoe covers, or leave your home without cleaning up, you do not pay for the service. Also, if the repair fails in the first year they will repair it again at no charge. read more

This review is waaaay overdue! We are from SoCal and houses there don't really have any basements. We have no idea what sump pump and ejectors are but anyway, the little hole with tubes coming out on our utility room started flooding and we had no idea how and why... called multiple plumbers in the area and none answered or return our call. Finally called this company and they answered right away. The plumber, forgot his name, came out to check what was wrong and explained to him that we had no idea. Lol. He explained us what the problem was, what he'll be doing, what things do like sump pump and the ejector, etc. He was very nice, very thorough, and very detailed about the job being done. I give this company 10 stars for being the only one to answer our call and get someone to our place during that day. I highly recommend them! Definitely will give them a call again! A+ service and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. read more

Gave a call to Alex early afternoon on a repair to plumbing I had been dragging my feet on. He was able to come to my home within an hour, complete the work within an hour, and left the worksite cleaner than when he arrived. No disruption to my already packed afternoon. Great job, Alex! read more

We called in BeeZee in summer of 2013 to give an estimate on a long list of electrical items we wanted for our house. When Igor came to take a look at things, we went through each item at a time, he gave instant helpful advice on all of them, and in the process we eliminated and changed a few things. At the end of the first visit he gave itemized, flat fee prices taken from a book. When the workers came, they worked quickly and quietly, all work was completed faster than I expected, and they did an excellent and noteworthy job of cleaning up after themselves. The price did not change from the estimate given on the first visit, there were no surprises or "oh we forgot we need to charge you for this too" gotchas. A few follow-up email requests were responded to in a timely and helpful manner. We were satisfied with the work and even though it'll probably be a few years before we think we'll have any new electrical work done, I can't think of any reason why we wouldn't call BeeZee again. read more

We used BeeZee Plumbing to change the pump in our house. Alex was very professional and was able to come on a very short notice. He did an excellent job at very reasonable cost. We are very satisfied and will definitely use his services in future. read more

Disappointed. The technician was polite and professional. This rating and review is not aimed at him. The technician doesn't even quote the project and has no negotiating power. After I explained to the tech what I needed, he called someone else who then gave him the quote. Strange to get a quote from someone who isn't even on the job site. When I called BeeZee the day prior to schedule a quote I was told over the phone that a quote counts as a service call and I would be charged $59 for the quote but they currently have a $25 off special. I have never paid anyone for a quote before but the five star Yelp rating made me think it would be worth it. Turns out the $25 off is only if you decide to use their service at that moment; it does not come off the $59 service call/quote (apparently a misunderstanding on my part, but still not made crystal clear to me when I called to schedule). The reason for the poor rating is the overpriced quote. For the install of 3 outlets (and the walls are OPEN to the studs because it is a DIY remodel in progress) the quote was $429. I had to ask for the $25 off which then brought it down to $404. ($370 for the job + $59 for the service call -$25 discount). I even supplied the outlet receptacles (which I recognize aren't expensive, but still over $140 per outlet is steep. I also asked for a quote for a possible future job of installing an outlet in the floor of the main level (above an UNfinished basement). The quote for just the one outlet install was over $512. BeeZee is too pricey. And I still had to pay the $59 service charge. read more

I had broken my outdoor spigot trying to be a DIY hero late at night. I called around to several plumbing service companies to have the broken pipe and spigot fixed that evening as I had to shut all the water off in order to prevent flooding of my home. Bee Zee gave me the best overall price and showed up exactly when promised that evening. He even texted me a few minutes before I arrived instead of ringing my doorbell so as not to wake up my wife and kids. All around a highly professional experience. The work was done in a very efficient, detail oriented manner. The technician was polite and was happy to allow me to observe him while he was working. He also made sure the work area was completely cleaned up, leaving no debris or mess once he was finished. Bee Zee has definitely earned my trust and I will continue to use them for any and all plumbing and or electrical service needs at my home. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need. read more

I called them on Thursday to set up an appointment for Saturday. They were friendly on the phone and gave me a 2 hour window. Saturday rolls around. My 2 hour window comes and goes and no one showed up or called. I gave them and extra half hour before I called the first time because I figured they might be busy. The lady took my number, assured me she would get ahold of dispatch and call me back to let me know what the status was. 25 minutes go by and no one calls, so I call again. This time I am firmer and let her know that it's an hour past my appointment and no one has let me know what is going on. I let her know I need to know because I can't sit around all day as I'm going on a trip I need to get ready for. She doesn't apologize, doesn't empathize she just tells me she'll send another messAge to dispatch. Another hour goes by, so I am now up to 4 hours wAiting for them with my morning ruined, and I call and ask for a manager. After going through the events a third time, I get put on hold for 5 minutes. I tell the supervisor what happened and she also has no sympathy, takes no ownership of their poor customer service or for inconveniencing me, also doesn't give me an ETA. It's like they could care less and that I was inconveniencing them for calling or something instead of the other way around. I told her to call them and cancel the appointment because I couldn't waste my whole day waiting on someone who might not even come. She had no objection or apology whatsoever. If someone is going to treat Mr so poorly and not respect any of my time or at least have the common courtesy to call or update me TWO HOURS after the appointment window ends, they are not getting my business. Absolutely awful. read more

horrible.....they did the plumbing replaced some parts and "did a whole home pressurized leak check" now a few weeks later after painting and installing new carpeting I find that there's a leak and had to cut out 2feet of damaged drywall and they refuse to fix it that they aren't liable for leaks behind drywall but y charge me $1k if they're not going to find a leak with the equipment/tools they have....worst plumbers I've ever met. read more
