There are good selections of individual beers from around the world as not everyone want to get a 6 packs of the same kind. Though the selections are really mainstream but still have over 100 different ones! Staffs are all so cheerful... more cheerful than me... I picked up quite a few beers to try... my home beer tasting session!!

I had a terrible experience here as of April 25th 2018…read more I bought 3 waterloo radlers and a case of Stella beers. Went to pay with 40 dollars and decided to give my friend his 10 dollars back after the purchase (I owed him cash because he bought me food). The cashier wanted to decline the whole transaction due to the fact that I handed my friend the 10 dollars in which she assumed I was buying for my friend who actually HATES alcohol. For the cashier, you cannot assume that I'm buying for him. That 10 dollars change could be used for ANYTHING. For you to assume that made me feel very attacked and although there was only 1 witness, I felt very embarrassed being called out for making a legal purchase. However, the employee who showed me the selection of beers was very professional and knowledgeable. The selection itself is massive with much to choose from. I will no longer be purchasing from this LCBO EVER.

This is the LCBO that has no need to card me, ever, because I am here like clockwork every weekend…read more I am not trying to brag (no one should ever be proud of being a "regular" at a liquor store) but I just want everyone to know how wonderful the staff at this location are! You know how some LCBOs have staff who know nothing about wine and couldn't care less if you find what you want? This one is actually the exact opposite. It may be on the edge of Parkdale, it may have the occasional crazy person who wanders in yelling about something incomprehensible, but it offers service I have not found at many other locations in the city. When I have questions, someone is there to answer them, and if I'm trying a new beer, the cashier will tell me what she thought of it at the tasting the week before. I love this LCBO. One tip though -- there is a huge difference between buying your booze at 6pm on a Saturday night at at 9pm when they close. Go closer to 6, because you'll be waiting in lines that stretch across the length of this tiny store, and it's really not fun to wait in line when you have beer in your hands that you can't drink.

The location is good, across the street from Cineforum, the underground theatre-in-a-house and a few steps from College and Bathurst with Sneaky Dee's at the corner. Careful not to get caught up in rush times for returns because the lineups can get long. Restauranteurs frequent this location for both returns and pickup. Notice on the til explains a new facility for bulk returns so that could help the situation. The other effect that wholesale buying has is on their stock levels. Any import beer on sale is quickly sold out so you have to be on top of it to get those deals.
