The salon is small but nice, and it is hidden away upstairs in a health shop. It looks out over the cutty sark which is pretty cool. The decor is kind of shabby chic, a lot of white boarding and whitewashed walls, and the salon is kept very clean. They are open on Sundays which I find quite convenient. I have had problem skin in the past - extreme dryness and the odd nasty spot. Rosemarie (the therapist and owner) didn't give me any false pretences - she said my skin was in pretty dire straits. Since that first appointment, I have been back a second time for an additional facial, and my skin is definitely improving. They do microdermabrasion here (which I found really good) and they also do a proper steam, cleanse and extraction on every facial. Rosemarie gave me some good tips and suggested I change my cleanser. The tips, along with two great treatments means that people keep mentioning to me how good my skin looks. I'll be back for appointments every 8 weeks if it keeps up (fingers crossed). I would recommend this place to locals and friends, hence the five star. I found Pure Synergie online by searching for waxing in the Greenwich area, and I decided to try them. Elizabeth was the beautician specialist who did my waxing, and I can honestly say she did a quicker, less painful, and more thorough job than I've ever received in the States. Elizabeth used hot wax for the Hollywood and strip wax for the half leg. She was really friendly and made me feel very comfortable...because, let's be real, spreading your legs open to get waxed by a stranger is an odd situation, but Elizabeth really did make me feel comfortable. She mentioned that the Pure Synergie Greenwich location does a lot of waxing in their salon. I have fine, blonde hair and it's easy to miss spots when waxing, so Elizabeth used a light to double check her work and make sure all the hair was removed, which I appreciated. My appointment took no longer than 40 minutes. As the previous review mentioned, the salon doesn't really have a storefront. It's located upstairs above a health food place where you can get fresh smoothies, treats, etc. The inside of the salon is quaint with wood floors and has a nice, relaxing ambiance overall. I will absolutely be going back in 5-6 weeks for another round of waxing, and I would definitely recommend this salon and Elizabeth.

I appeared for my scheduled lash installation time promptly and was quickly assessed and put on the table. This is a one-table operation so things are quite calm... Some important factoids: *cash only. *come with clean lashes. *on Brick Lane, through black metal gates, first door on left, up to third floor. *try not to fidget. *no walk-ins, book in as early as possible. ...and voila, beautiful full lashes that have staying power. But...if this review gets one of the many women who I frequently see on the tube sporting TOWIE-esque eyelashes to visit Lash Lab and get their lashes done by a pro...well, I know that I've done my part in making this world a better place. When a coworker (with completely natural looking yet amazing lashes) admitted that she gets her lashes "done" by Kym at Lash Lab, I knew I had to check it out. I've visited Kym three times and never been disappointed. She will review the shape of your face and eyes as well as your natural lash coverage to ensure that you leave Lash Lab looking completely natural. The 60-90 minute application is painless (in fact, I usually sleep through 75%) and I leave Brick Lane feeling like a movie star. The lashes typically last for 4-6 weeks and cost me £85 (certainly worth every £). My husband doesn't notice when I chop 5 inches off my hair, when I dye from blonde to brown or when I'm sporting a hot new outfit. However, he does notice my lashes by Kym. Shhh, don't tell his buddies, but when my lashes are newly done, my hubby actually comments about how hot they are (and notices when they've all fallen out and nicely encourages me to visit Kym again). Ladies, go see Kym. You'll feel amazing with her lashes on...but, I beg you, please don't fill Kym's calendar. Like NHS, I typically have to make an appointment a week or so in advance and the thought of planning 3 weeks in advance due to Kym's popularity would be rough!
