She talked my mom out of walking somewhere when it was cold and gave her a ride both ways. After that my mom fell in Super 1. They called the Highgate and Melissa sent the LPN over to check on her. Then she called me to make sure I knew and I didn't. I am so grateful for how thorough and quick she took care of everything. I appreciate the care my mom gets at the Highgate!

Got a call to come get her because her insurance was going to run out in 3 days. Temperature was below zero but was suppose to warm up the next day. We were told to come get her the next day, which we did!!! Staff refused to let her leave!!! I Told her she could leave with us. Staff then began to bully her until she was crying and begging me to let her stay! We had to come the next day to get her because her insurance coverage for the stay ran out! Staff actually told me that they have the flesh eating bacteria there! Don't let the pictures fool you!!! It looks nothing like it and it smells like urine and is run down!! They changed the name to The Ivy but still the same nasty place!!! CAREGIVERS BEWARE!!! If you love your family member pull them out or do not place them there!!!!

You are not allowed over 35 hours a week to avoid having to offer medical, vacation, or sick leave. There is absolutely NO ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT in the company and no holiday pay. You will not get a raise because there money is more important than your money. The owners and the owners mother repeatedly, while I was there would sit around the table gossiping and discuss private, confidential employee information with the residents family members. They save and share old medications from past and diseased residents with current residents. If they dont like the resident they remove them or nit pick at them and send them off to locked down units.SO APPLY OR PLACE UR LOVED ONES AT YOUR OWN RISK!!​
