A good choice for an appetizer. For my lunch, I went with their Fish and Chips. Along with a side of the Gouda Mac. Two beer battered filets with slaw and fries. The fries and slaw were good, the filets were okay. They seemed like they were prepackaged though? The shape and texture did not match up with the house made fries and slaw. It was okay but nothing special. The Mac n Cheese was good, creamy rich gouda on warm shell macaroni. The young lady provided just the right amount of attention and was super friendly. This place would be an excellent place to frequent if you were a local. The food: my friend had the Cristo and said it was way too salty; pretzels tasted good though heavily salted and cheese sauce had a thick dried skin on top (sat too long under heat lamp?); another had the potato soup and it was delicious; my Brussels sprouts were ok though only room temperature (again sat too long?). I should note, this was on a Thursday night at 6, ordered food at 6:20, started receiving at 7:00, mine at 7:10. There were 6 of us. Again simple items that should not have taken 40+ minutes to pull together. We all agreed the server was not good (though we tried to find excuses for her behavior "serving is hard work the kitchen delays, etc." but there was really no real excuse for not being inattentive), and the food was not worth the expense.
