Most of us enjoyed the seasonal mushroom specialty (Pfifferlinge) which came in a cream sauce with or without meat over some kind of potatoes. I chose the traditional potato dumplings (Kloese) which were light and delicious. Others in the group enjoyed the Roulade (meat roll up) and Forelle (Trout). The service was quick and friendly. The staff was not good at serving a big group. They managed to drop a fork on a customer's southern region and another customer did not receive her drink. She had to ask multiple times before she received her drink. The same girl was laughed at, when she did not understand what the servant said. We are foreigners from Norway and our German is not top notch, but we expected that the servant would account a little for that, specially when it's a restaurant with "good" service. We felt pressured to pay ekstra for tip when we were paying for our food. The servant's service became worse when we decided to not pay much or nothing for tips because he had a lack of performance and were rude and disrespectful to us. The servant tried to add more amount to the bill than some customers agreed on. We all double checked the amount for each bill and three people ended up paying a different amount for the same order. Everyone went home disappointed and angry over the lack of taste, service and respect. There are so many better restaurants in Erfurt that I would much rather recommend.
