We called and luckily there was a canceled appointment the next day and they fit us in. Their covid19 protocol was standard for vets these days. We got there, parked and called them, and they brought out paperwork since we are a new patient. Came back out and grabbed our pup. The vet called me not too long after and had a pretty detailed conversation about all the issues she saw and helped do an ear flush for the infection, added extra allergy meds due to inflammation, and recommended antibiotics. Then they brought our baby back out. The cashier called to check us out and we paid over the phone. Then they brought our receipt and meds out. Overall, easy, professional and good experience. Highly recommend whether you live in the area or are traveling with your pup from out of town.

She is excited to go get treats and see all the friendly faces. Our last visit had whole new staff up front. Completely different experience. My dog had to be muzzled and dragged to the back. She was so scared that there was a trail of pee all the way back. She will never willingly go back there. So sad. It used to be a great place that greeted my dog with a smile, pets, and treats. Its not the same any more.

Every interaction our family has had with this clinic has been exceptional. We have had a few…read moreemergency issues with our dogs and they were able to get them in same day to be seen and treated, on multiple occasions, or as early as possible the next day. They aren't rushed, they care and take their time to make sure they get to the root of the problem. They explain everything and go the extra mile to help treat and get our pets back to healthy. I am so grateful to go to this vet clinic. We have seen both doctors at one time or another and they are both, hands down, compassionate, thorough, listen, and treat the problem. I highly recommend them and tell everyone who asks for a recommendation to come here. (We also use their kennel to board our dogs and the staff working the kennel are amazing as well.) A huge shout out to the receptionists also. They are amazing at making sure pets who are in crisis can be seen in a timely manner. Everyone here is friendly, professional, and cares about the animals first and foremost, but also us owners. I would give this place a 10/5 if that ranking was available.

I called to make an appointment this morning and was told I couldn't because of this. Why would I be calling to make an appointment if I was that unhappy? That makes no sense. I asked to speak to the doctor, that the receptionist JUST spoke with, and was told he was busy with surgery. So whoever's pet had a surgery at about 10:15 am on March 18th 2025, it was interrupted for the receptionist to ask him a question. This vet seems very unprofessional and disrespectful. EDIT: Looks like I'm not the only one that has had an issue like this!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS VET!!!!

Nothing but problems with this place…read more My first incident with this place was when my dog had to go to the animal hospital in Kalamazoo and have surgery on his paw. I was supposed to go into my regular vet (the VCA Marshall) every week to get it re-wrapped and the splint repositioned. Every single time I did this, I had to go to the animal hospital in Kalamazoo within hours, because the VCA vet had positioned it incorrectly and caused my pup severe discomfort. Even after talking to the surgeon from the actual animal hospital over the phone to make sure he got it correctly, he still was incompetent. My most recent interaction was that my dog had surgery at the VCA vet and while I was at work, the vet called I was unable to leave the meeting in time to answer the call. I called back to the reception and she put me on hold. After waiting for so long, I called back and was then put on hold again. Finally someone answered the phone and could not tell me who called, the status of his surgery, or when I could come pick him up. I was very frustrated and told the receptionist that they were wasting my time by putting me on hold multiple times, and not having any information. Common sense would have been to see which vet was performing the surgery and see if they were out of surgery. In my opinion, that is common sense. So I was then told that they had no information and that they would call me back as soon as they found out. I did not ever receive a call. Three hours later I showed up to pick up my dog and he was not ready so I had to wait another hour to pick him up. The vet did leave a message. However, I explained to the receptionist that I was in a meeting and I did not get very good service. Therefore, I did not have a voicemail come through at this point. In the voicemail, the vet said to call the reception and have them send my call to him to talk to me. How is this possible when they have no idea what was going on? When I went in days later to get my dogs, tail re-bandaged, the vet decided he was going to argue with me about what had happened. I then told him that I will not argue about the situation. Because I have had such a horrible interactions with every single one of these people I am at my breaking point, and I will not ever take my animals to this vet again. Even the vet at the animal hospital said the VCA is incompetent and has no clue what they are doing and told me not to go back. I should have listened. I would also like to add that had the vet at the VCA (Dr. Randy) not argued with me about the situation I would not be writing this review. But because he decided he was going to argue with me I decided I had to. Don't ever argue with a customer after they've had a bad experience. Especially in a situation where you said yourself "I wasn't there so I don't know".
