I was having a really bad day the day I met with her but her personality is so cheerful that I found myself smiling and having a great time chatting with her. I knew this is someone I wanted to have around me on my wedding day. Despite how awkward I thought the engagement photo session was going to be, I had a lot of fun. Sarah directed us the whole time ("stand closer together, chin up, relax your shoulders...") which is what I really needed. Sarah searched everywhere for the best lighting and kept moving us around as the sun went down. I think of her as "the sun chaser." She got the engagement photos back to us just a few weeks later and they were amazing! She is also very well priced. I'm so thankful she was available for our wedding date! I can't recommend her enough. Edit: We received our wedding photos from Sarah a few weeks ago and they are gorgeous and so perfect. There is a lovely mix of portraits and documentary-style photos. I had several photographers quote a base service fee and then misleadingly share that products including digital files would be an additional hundreds of dollars. This was not the case with Jessica as her fee covers downloading the digital gallery. On the day of, we arrived at her studio and easily found parking on the street. There is a tiny parking lot in her building but there was street parking available. She had set the heat on a cold day and even started playing baby music on her Alexa for our son. The shoot was efficient and she made our son laugh several times. We received the edited photos within a week and they were adorable. We've gotten a lot of compliments on them already!

A few days after the photo shoot, she came to our house with her ipad and showed us the digitals of our pictures as well as different print options for our photos (prints, different paper options, canvas, etc.). She had a software program where she could take a picture of our wall and then help design a photo arrangement that would look good in our house. This service was invaluable as we all know how hard it is to actually get around to deciding which pictures to print, what arrangements would look good, sizes, frames, etc. Sarah helped us choose all this and then delivered our canvases in a week.
