Warning, this is a long review. I write this in hopes that…read moreI may spare even just one person the humiliation and shame I felt after ending my call with Hayden Ware from Ranger Roofing. I was using bluetooth in the car, attempting to drive back home with my children. By the end of the call I had pulled over on the side of the road and all three of us were crying. My children asked how someone could be so mean when I had called them for help. Here is what happened: I didn't choose his estimate last time. In 2022, there were several strong storms that resulted in totaling my roof and other significantly alarming damages to my home's exterior and interior. I have a brain injury. I was in and out of the hospital for most of that year, as my condition is degenerative, and left me having 3-5 seizures a day. When I found out what happened to my home, I was devastated. I couldn't remember most things people would tell me and if I did remember, it'd often be a skewed memory- like what is happening now. I mixed up who repaired my roof. Hayden came out and gave a fair, reasonable, professional, and kind bid on our roof replacement in 2022. I THOUGHT that I chose Ranger Roofing to replace my roof last year. Now that I've moved locations, I found myself with a new to me house that also needs a new roof. Hayden absolutely lit into me on speakerphone (I was driving) and let me know that I was a waste of his time, that he literally lives only 3/4 of a mile from where I am now, and that even if I paid him triple- he refuses to work with me. What on earth did I do?! I guess I didn't pick his bid after all... :( I got home and looked through emails and records to figure out what he was talking about and what I could have possibly done to offend him. (Photo texts and screenshots for receipts are added below.) When my battle buddies heard what happened to my house, they knew I was too sick to get estimates. Several called different companies to get estimates and my Ranger friend called this company for me. I got 10 bids total from different companies, whom I did not call or talk to personally. Once I got all of the estimates, I chose a company that could fix everything in one swoop. At the time, it seemed like the biggest stress reliever. Ranger Roofing only does roofing, not anything to do with the rest of the crazy damages that needed to be repaired to my home. I picked the company that could fix all damages. That is how I offended this man. So when the time came to call and try to get an estimate on my roof, THIS was the company I remembered. I remembered a kind man with a thorough perspective. I assure you I was wrong. I was so, so wrong. His tone, his rage, his frustration... it all came through the phone loud and clear. I tried to explain the situation and he just kept repeating that he wouldn't work with me no matter what and he didn't appreciate how I treated him. Well, I am sorry. I tried my best to do what I thought was the best in those circumstances. I didn't want to hire however many different contractors it would require to come out and provide more bids for window replacement, sheetrock, doors, etc. I have no clue what all that entails. Regardless, I say this only to spare someone the pain of his received rage. Honestly, I am so sorry that I offended him so thoroughly. He wouldn't hear any of that when I tried explaining it. I was looking through the emails and it really does look like my singular offense was that I "wasted his time" by providing me a bid? Isn't that what you are supposed to do? Get different bids from different contractors and see who can provide the most cost-effective and user-friendly solution to a very difficult and confusing process? If you decide to work with them, great! If you don't... well, be prepared to hear the full rage of a man you have never met and be prepared for him to carry that rage for over a year and let you know what kind of awful person you are for not choosing his bid in the first place. After Turley…read morereceived all of the insurance payments, they did not pay for the material used on his house at SPEC roofing supply, so SPEC has put a lien on the house. Our family has tried for months to get Turley to pay the invoice so SPEC can release the lien. Unfortunately my father in law passed away two weeks ago so spent his last months worried his daughters would not be able to sell the house after he passed. So if you have chosen Turley, do NOT give final payment until you get a lien release from their suppliers.

The next day they called and said oh yeah, that was for something else. They destroyed our front garden and left lots of debris in our gutters and in our yard. They also left a pallet of nails and cut shingles in the drive way and never picked it up. Everyone in their organization says something different and according to the last person I talked to, if he didn't say it, it doesn't matter. My insurance agent of 25 years called me about 2 weeks before my insurance ended with American National and told me I needed to get a new roof. I did not have time to research or find a roofer so I completely trusted my insurance agent. He put me in touch with the adjuster and with Jeremy Newkirk. Jeremy was professional, kind, helpful, patient and the best contractor I've ever worked with in 25 years. He was able to get me a new roof which had upgraded shingles and upgraded gutters installed in under 2 weeks. His crew was polite, worked hard, very neat and did an amazing job! I chose to do an upgraded shingle which is a class 4 Owens Corning impact resistant shingle with synthetic underlayment. Jeremy also ran the calculations and added some extra vents on my roof which I think look really good and will help with the hot summer sun. They took off the old 15 pound felt and made sure all the decking was in good order. The synthetic underlayment is waterproof and tear proof and It doesn't absorb heat like felt does and air moves underneath it better. They added additional vents because the square footage on my house required more. They installed ice and water shields in all of the valleys and around every penetration and around the chimney. Ice and water shield is so it will seal around a nail when it's driven through. He upgraded the size of the guttering around my front door where my ash trees are so it will prevent them from getting clogged. He also added gutters around my bay window to hopefully prevent wood rot. He replaced the rotted vertical boards around my chimney. He did a fantastic job! He was the easiest and best contractor that I have worked with in the 25 years of owning this home. I highly recommend Roof Leaks and Moore! At that time he didn't think the roof would qualify for replacement, so he suggested to wait.Unlike another roofing company who tried to rush us into getting a new roof knowing insurance was not going to approve. A year later a major leak in the roof causing water damage inside the house. I called Jeremy and he came immediately and found where the leak was coming from. Did a temporary fix and said the roof was worse than it had been the last time he was on it. Suggested we start the claim process fora new roof as well as repair of ceiling where the water had came through. Jeremy and his assistant, Danny, have helped with this entire process from starting the claim to the completion of the new roof and the other damage repairs. USAA suggested I call up Elliot Roofing for the job. And although Chris works in OKC, he was more than willing to come and fix the problem. Chris climbed on top of the roof, looked in the attic and at the water stained ceiling. All I had to do was tap on the ceiling to let him know where the leak was when he was in the attic. I had two packages delivered while I was at work. One is missing! I am furious! The very least they could have done is put everything back the way it was. I'm told the boss will be here tomorrow. I'm beyond mad. They should not have to use anything of mine to help in their work. I bought my umbrella for my enjoyment not to help A Best Roofing put up a new roof. Barely any spoke English. One did however try to use translator on his phone to communicate with me. I do appreciate his efforts. 1) the roofers could have asked the office to contact me on using my umbrella. They didn't. 2) I had two packages delivered and one is missing! They were the only ones in my courtyard and it's gone! I might change my review after talking with their boss. Right now if I could give zero stars. Their manager did come back and agreed to make things right. The package that ended up missing he agreed to reimburse me the $35. In speaking with the manager he informed me that a letter was sent to me. I didn't receive it. Could be the issue of a mail carrier putting it in the wrong mailbox. Mishaps do occur and a good nights sleep calmed my attitude. I've changed my review from 1 star to 5 star because the manager and the workers this morning did everything to make it right.

Hired them for the seemless guttering system paid way to much for it to begin with & then they put it on my house with double drip edge. just because the roofing company I hired (not them) did the original drip edge incorrectly & hung the guttering system anyway without telling me anything & needless to say it looks like sh^^, & wants to charge me an additional $2800 to come back & make it look right!! this is totally wrong on so many levels. not happening A1-Roofing out of of Tulsa. & it also leaks on every corner of my house. not a Happy customer at ALL! if I had to do it all over again I would definitely not hire A1-Roofing, buyers be aware!!
