Becky's Drive-In is great! I have nothing to compare, but I loved this spot. I was quite excited for my first drive-in movie. Becky's is retro and fun. Seems like there is plenty of parking. Bathrooms were clean. There is a place for children to play, plus a little train to ride. Concessions were tasty. I absolutely loved the fried Oreos. Staff was friendly. The audio device worked well. This is a great place! I'm so glad we chose Becky's to introduce our kids to drive-in movies. We went on a weekday because we were coming from pretty far away and wanted to make sure we got a good spot. It wasn't crowded at all. The grounds are very clean and everyone was really friendly and helpful. We got an enormous bag of popcorn (a medium, which we couldn't even come close to finishing) and two orders of hot, crispy fries. The picture quality was excellent and the cheap radio I brought worked great. Our kids are older so we didn't visit the playground but I love that they have something like that for families. We loved the old school ads, which my husband remembers watching when he used to go to the drive-in as a kid. The first 4 years of my life I was about a 5 minute ride from the Bucks County Drive in, which then was sold and a shopping complex was built. Years later when I was in middle school my dad found out about Becky's. It's about an hour and a half away from Doylestown/ Bucks County and it feels like, at least to us, it's in the middle of nowhere. Ha! What I do I love about Becky's first and foremost, is the family like feel. They have a ton of staff and they all just feel like a big family which is super great, they're all so nice and helpful. This past weekend was probably the first time I went in maybe 12-15 years and since then they have expanded so much. I love that Becky's has two screens but what is also great is that rather than selling everything from what they now call the 'express' stand , like they used to. They have 3 buildings. A souvenir stand, an express snack stand, and the regular refreshment stand. They have a lot of great souvenirs that I definitely picked up. All the prices are reasonable and they have a wide variety of snacking options. I loved that when you got your receipt for your tickets you got a little menu as well as a trash bag. Both were very helpful. They let you know what rows you can park in based on your size vehicle and what I also loved was the option to rent a radio. For the life of me I couldn't find a battery operated radio and I didn't want to risk my battery dying with a long drive ahead. However they do have jumper cables should you need them. I'm so glad I got to experience this with my boyfriend and we've already talked about coming back this summer! We typically go to the other drive in theater, but to me Becky's is much cleaner and with more food options. They have burgers and pizza, two different concession stands for even flow of traffic. The price is about the same for both. Reception of the sound is great, screen size is good, and overall a very nice movie going experience. All the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Popcorn was really good, pretzel bites better than Regal, pizza has a great crust and baked well, soda in huge 44 oz cups, fries and chicken tenders cooked well, and the hot dog very satisfying. Not great. This place seems like a free for all. Kids running around, lights on, trunks all the way up. People setting their alarms off. This isn't our first rodeo. I know it normally takes people a little bit to get settled at a drive in but the things I was seeing were just the whole time. Screen one is positioned inconveniently. You can see screen two if your in any row after 7. I could see and hear fireworks the entire time. You can also still hear traffic. Row 11 is actually a hill that faces downward. We were in row 10 and could only see 3/4 of the screen. I can drive an hour and change to this one or same drive time to Jersey. The food was very fairly priced but no good. Nachos were especially gross. read more

Security has a terrible attitude and it's not worth going when they are on a power trip. The guys at the box office told us we could park in row 4 and back for screen 1 with our Jeep Patriot since we weren't going to be opening our tailgate. As soon as we get set up in row for an old man flew up in a golf cart with a horrific power trip attitude demanding we move to row 6 or back. When trying to tell him we were told we could park there he only got a worse attitude with me even after we said we would move. This was our first time here and will be our last. No point in spending money here when Shankweiler's Drive In has customer service that crushes this place. read more

The best possible date night during a pandemic. It was $20 for the movie for two and snacks ranges from $6-12. Had the get the funnel cake because why not? It was so crispy and delicious. You can add toppings for a dollar or two. We opted to get a radio for another $10, definitely better experience than tuning in with the car. read more

We missed the first half of the movie because lines were so long to get popcorn and soda and we showed up 30 minutes early to the movie. I wish there was better efficiency with food and radio rentals. Having popcorn and soda pre bagged or prepped may help with that. Becky's is great. Two screens, quality FM sound, and a wide-ranging number of options in the concession stand. They've got two men's rooms and two ladies' rooms, all well-maintained and clean. The place has a family vibe, but isn't one of those drive-ins that only plays family films. Screen 2 often gets the action and horror releases. And at the end of the season (Labor Day weekend) they always feature a dusk til dawn marathon, showcasing five movies from the summer season. read more

our first time here and the check-in process was super easy and staff was really nice, I loved that they're not super strict in terms of the car being on fully. We didn't know if during the break in between movies the engine still had to be off but we turned ours on after the first movie to help charge the battery then back off once the second movie came on. With new places you never know but they didn't yell at us for that and security guy was at the car next to us helping them jump their car. A few cons nothing crazy but to start they didn't ask us wether we have been there before and handed us a paper menu of the concession stand. Therefore im assuming they give one to every person that goes in and i know some people just don't care but i wish they at least tried to save paper by asking people if they want a menu or having a QR code for people who wanna access it on their phone to try to save a little bit of paper. Next, The intro before the movie was - i kid you not - about 20 minutes. There's always an intro i get that but it's usually 10. The movie was suppose to start at 7:30 but it was 7:50 when it actually started. I have patience but i was more concerned i wasn't gonna be able to stay awake for the second cause it already starts late to begin with plus we're an hour away. It would be nice to not get there so early but it's first come first serve, which is another reason why it would be nice if they sold tickets online. Thirdly, I don't know if it's just me but they played the national anthem before the movie and i just thought that was the weirdest thing. (The song originated from war and It's typically played at sporting events because its two teams going against each other like a battle) If it was 5 years ago maybe not but everything is so complicated and political now. It just made it feel all that more political. Im not trying to get too deep into politics but to me the national anthem is a song representing how proud you are of your country. For them this is the worst time to play that since our country has had the most deaths with Covid because we can't follow a few rules. That doesn't make me feel proud of this country at all and is quite embarrassing. Im sure their intentions are good but it felt political personally and doesn't make me wanna go back to be honest. Lastly, my fiancé bought a drink with a nicer cup with logos on it and asked them if they do refills. They said no but i told him to ask if he can just pay for another drink but use the same cup and they still said no. I think that's odd especially since if anything we're helping you save money on goods. If i'm using the same cup and paying for a drink therefore you don't have to waste another cup who's it benefiting? If covid was a factor I understand but it's not because they told him he doesn't have the right cup to do refills. Have you ever had something funny to say while watching a movie at Regal Cinemas with a friend, but when you attempt to whisper, people shush you? That is never the case at Becky's Drive-in. You can either enjoy your movie from inside or outside of your car. Many people bring blankets or camping chairs to sit on. I love sitting in my car with my portable radio on the dashboard and my snacks on my lap. Don't have a radio? Not to worry, there are $4 rentals at the projection booth. Although this is the first drive-in I have ever been to, I have been going back every year since the 2017 dusk till dawn movie marathon event. The experience is well worth the 45-minute drive. Becky's is the only place I go to see movies from the spring through the fall seasons. They show two movies for $7-11 (children-adult prices), which is a great deal. When I look back on going to regular movie theaters, I feel cramped and uncomfortable at the thought of a stranger sitting directly next to me. One downside to watching movies at Becky's is the constant traffic throughout the films. When I was on a date night with my boyfriend, we watched the horror movie The Invitation. People started showing up 30 minutes late with headlights blazing, which ruined the dark feel of the film, and I could not follow the plot until the middle of the movie. I enjoy the different food options, from funnel cakes to chicken fingers and fries; Becky's has it all. The layout of Becky's is convenient for customers by putting buildings with snacks and takeout dinner options right between both screens. People do not have to wander far to find what they need. The prices are reasonable and affordable, so feeding the family won't break the bank. While they have many options, you can still bring snacks and food from home. I tend to make a quick stop at Dollar Tree and pick up a few things before I see a movie because let's be honest, when does any movie theater have enough snack options? Something I wish they had more of is bathrooms. There are bathrooms in both food buildings, but when they get busy, lines form quicker than during the movie. When you are parked in the back rows, it is a trek to get there. Another issue with Becky's is that you cannot purchase tickets ahead of time like at regular movie theaters. In conclusion, although I have experienced ups and downs at Becky's, my bad experiences can be attributed to fellow patrons in bad moods. Therefore, I feel the pros far outweigh the cons; not only is the drive-in affordable, but its food is delicious, and they are pet friendly. I had a goal to see movies at 10 different drive-ins by the end of the summer, Becky's was once of my picks... In fact, it ended up being my best pick. I could go on and on for paragraphs about what makes Becky's great, but I will save you that and try to keep it to the basics. - The staff were super nice and quick at what they did. Regardless of it being the snack bars or enterance gate, those lines moved fast. - The customers could obviously vary from day to day, but I find you can get an overall feel based on most of the people you come in contact with. All of the people directly around me sat outside of their cars and were very friendly when I asked them little questions before the show started. Really everyone I came in to contact with was pleasant. - The food, the yummy yummy food. Popcorn is good almost everywhere, you know what makes it better? Real butter, which they use. They make their own homemade pierogies. First of all, what sort of snackbar does that? Secondly, what addictive substance do they put in them to make them so good. The chili dogs were alright too. Oh and they have not one, but 2 snack bars! - The grounds are super clean. The may be the cleanest grounds out of any drive-in that I have been too. This includes drive-ins in the famously clean Canada. Lol. They also are very well maintained in general. The playground was great. The little signs you stick your face through to take a picture were awesome. Bathrooms were clean. Buildings were all in good condition. That about sums it up with the exception of 1 thing, ambiance. This place has a great vibe. It is inviting, relaxed and somewhere I would spend a lot of time if I lived closer. I might make the 6 hour drive out every year or two just because it's that great. The vibe is a result of all of the things listed above, but also the owners. I had the pleasure of chatting with them and they were so nice, caring and welcoming, it is obviously contagious and has spread through their business. Do yourself a favor and go, you will not be disappointed. You will get to have a great night out and support a local business that has an amazing group of people attached to it. read more

This place is great. It has 2 screens and 2 concession stands. The drive in parking is tiered so you get a great view from wherever you are parked. The food is good and reasonably priced. For the kids, they have a playground and a "fire truck" type of train ride for the kiddies. They allow you to bring your dog and the atmosphere is very family oriented. Just wanna say, me and my babies just got home from Becky's Drive-In and they have a dusk till dawn movie marathon going on for Labor Day weekend, we had a blast for our first time and new comers to PA from Florida, the have a playground and the lil train and fire truck to drive you around before the movie starts and even serving breakfast around 2am and you get awarded free tickets if you stay till sunrise, such a cute and beautifully kept drive in, back in south Florida all we have is the swap shop and it's kinda run down, this was crisp picture, amazing sound, people were out in tents, air mattresses, chairs, you can rent a lil boom box for like 3$, we had our own snacks, but I'm sure the food was great cuz that line was around the block. Will deff revisit for Halloween events and movie screenings! read more

I LOVE coming to Becky's, especially around Halloween time. To have the option of watching movies in the comfort of your own car is amazing. They usually have a voting system on their website for which movies they should play next. The lines can get pretty long and spots get filled quick, so make sure to get there early. Although the lines for food get pretty long as well, their food is DELICIOUS. The staff are all very friendly and I've never had a bad experience coming here. 10/10 recommend coming to Becky's! read more

I was lucky enough to visit Becky's twice last year. My last visit was in their final weekend of the season (and they gave us a coupon for a free ticket for next year! Score!) I saw the double feature of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Where The Wild Things Are. It was swell. I grew up in what I consider standard suburbia. I had never been to a drive in before last summer, and frankly I never thought these types of places were still around. I was ecstatic to find out about Becky's. I thought this type of thing only existed on black and white tv shows. If I had kids, I would take them to Becky's, dressed in their pjs. It's so darned wholesome and All-American. They even have pony rides and a moon bounce. The concessions are cheap. A ticket gets you a double feature. The double feature does end late. However, I am fortunate to have someone else drive me. I also bring a blanket and pillow because I fall asleep. Maybe next year I will just wear my pjs, like the kiddos. It's an experience. Decided one Sunday night to stop up and introduce my friend to her first drive-in movie Mall Cop 2.. Upon arriving the staff were friendly and the way the place is set up is really good.. Food selection is great and the place is very clean taken care of well to say. Screen's are clear and in good shape. This is got to be the best ever. Came here few years ago befor my yelp days. Last YEAR came without a phone. Yelpers. This is a must do for you all and families. We drive up with few cars and enjoy the experience. It is now our 3rd year. The kids love the big screen fun and they like seeing two movies for the price of one. Tonight is Jurassic World and Ted2. We have kids ranging from 5 yrs old to 16. And they all enjoy laying out on a blanket and some laying in back of SUV. Myself nice high back chair and a blanket. And some cold water and I am good to go. The concession stand is always crowded so bringing your anacks is better and,more economical when with kids. They have fun things for the kids to do prior and intermission of the movies. Have your bug spray with you. That you will need for sure. Or expect to get bite up. 2 first fun movies for the price of a single movie anywhere else, plus the comfort of your own car...I don't understand why there aren't more people here every night of the week in the summer! The snack bar is pretty stacked, but it's not all that hard to stop at a local restaurant and bring a full picnic like meal in with you. I love Becky's! You gotta love the time-honored, American tradition of drive-in movie theaters. This beats a standard movie theater hands down! They have two giant concession stands and brand new bathrooms. There is a play ground for the kids, moon bounce, horse rides...and FUNNEL CAKE!! Some people bring their dogs and I plan to bring mine next season when they reopen. It's fun for the whole family (or a date night). Just a great and charming place all the way around. We love Becky's and visit two or three times each season. The price is very reasonable, the facility is clean and well cared for and the staff are generally helpful (has a definite family feeling). The snackbar is reasonably good and not terribly expensive, though we usually bring most of our own food and drink in coolers. One screen generally shows movies targeted at older kids and adults while the other usually shows movies for younger kids (there is a playground on site for the same). Bring your lawn chairs or blanket and a good speaker or two (battery powered so you don't need to annoyingly run your car during the movie to prevent it from a dead battery) and enjoy yourself.
