There was also a room with tactile and thinking puzzles as well as a drawing/tracing light board and library nook. I would say the optimal age range that's going to enjoy it is 7-12 but the little ones enjoyed it as well, not crowded on a Saturday, it was $5 per person and is good for about an hour/hour and a half of activity, great kids activity for a weekend or on a rainy day, there was also a planetary exhibit not open while we were there. I've been to many kids museums and while this one is small it's a great resource to let a kid loose to freely create, and it's a great utility for Beckley and southern WV

A collector himself, we discussed our collections and trends in older comics. His shoppe was a bit untidy as he just received a lot of new stock to display and while he was away for awhile, his old manager moved a lot of stuff around. But I had no problem browsing his stock. In the front area were lots of antique furniture and items. Around the store were displays of classic LP albums, huge stock of sports cards, figurines and action figures, toys, games, art, magazines, and comics. It was a great place to browse around and just feel the presence of the past in his displays. And be sure to pet his greeter, his very attendant dog. Barks but no bites. Check it out.
