I faced the same issue here in the greater Toronto area. I spotted this Circle K on the right as I was heading northbound after having visited Bingz at CF Fairview Mall. I had never been and thought that I'd try my luck finding Dr Pepper Zero here. This store is a part of an Esso. It's across from Mr Lube. I backed into a spot in front of the store and walked in. I was elated when I spotted many bottles of Dr Pepper Zero. Yay! It felt like a mirage. It wasn't. This store has a Tim Hortons. It tends to do steady business whenever I'm in this store. I saw Froster and Polar Pop machines. The latter has an extensive selection of flavours, similar to what I saw at my go-to Circle K in Ottawa this summer. Staff are always friendly here. My visits have been mainly to redeem digital coupons. Pepsi Zero was also difficult to find back in September. I headed back to this store and it had lots of bottles in stock. It's such a gem! Since then, I have bought everything from chips to Slim Jim pepperoni sticks. I love that this store has everything that I need, including difficult-to-find items. It's a winner. I love this store. When I had my first bowl I knew something was wrong -- it was very stale and tasted like sawdust. To my surprise the front of the box was advertising the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney... I bought the cereal in 2002. So even though this place is fine for your usual convenient store items I would highly suggest staying away from any food. And if you do find yourself browsing those items then make sure you check the expiration date because they likely have tins of beans from 1997.

My guess is that business was slow, as she seemed genuinely happy to see a human walk into her store. I saw frozen treats. Part of me wanted a popsicle, but I needed a drink to accompany my sandwich for lunch. This store has a decent variety of cold drinks. I saw Fanta in cans. I knew that I wanted one, but I didn't see any prices. I asked the woman how much a can was going for. She said $1.50. i said that I'd get two. That price is decent. It has no tax on it. My Fanta drinks consisted of these flavours: - Berry - Pineapple I paid with a five-dollar bill. Yes, I had cash. No, there isn't an apocalypse happening. I got change back. It felt like I was going back in time, paying without ever hearing about credit and debit cards. I thanked the woman. She seemed happy that I had stopped by, bought some items, and paid with cash. The drinks were cold. I drank the berry one on my way home. I loved it. It was berry, berry good. I've been craving a pineapple drink. I got my fix having pineapple Fanta with my veal sandwich. It was refreshing and perfect. When I'm back at this plaza, I'm returning here for drinks and possibly a popsicle. I had a terrific experience. (420)

The convenience store is a part of an Esso gas station. It has a car wash. It's on the northwest corner of McCowan Road and Bur Oak Avenue, across from Shoppers Drug Mart. I didn't have a problem finding a parking spot in front of the store. I backed into a spot fairly close to the main entrance. I walked in. There is a small Tim Hortons inside. There is also limited seating. A young couple was sipping hot drinks at a table. This store has a nice selection of candy. It's both good and evil. The beverage selection is pretty good. Although it didn't have some new Coke products that I had located at another Circle K, the variety of Bubly flavours got me. I decided to get cans of mango and watermelon. There was a sale going on. Rather than getting a case of each flavour at a grocery store without knowing whether I'd like the taste, I thought that I'd give each can a try. The man at the counter was okay. He said hi, but wasn't talkative. I feel like I am the oddball customer who like friendly small talk in comparison. I tapped my PC Optimum barcode off my phone. I then tapped to pay with my debit card. Done! I thanked the man. He nodded. I walked away with my goodies. I have had both Bubly varieties. I love them. It's funny. I have known about the Esso station that this Circle K is a part of. I have never been here. I used to shop at Walmart, but not as much as I used to. This Circle K is across from Walmart. The gas station also has a touchless car wash. It was doing steady business when I was there. I parked in a spot steps away from the main entrance. A staff member was taking out the trash from all garbage receptacles. I walked in. The payment counter was staring right at me. To my left was a small Tim Hortons. There was also steady business at the drive-thru, but there weren't any customers going into the store for Timmy's. I looked at all the snacks on the right. It had a vast assortment of Oreo flavours. I also enjoyed looking at the Clif bars and chips. I was here for peanuts. I found them where you are about to head over to the payment counter. The man at the counter was friendly and great. I had my PC Optimum card scanned. I then brought out my digital coupon and redeemed it. I paid with a debit card. I tapped and all was great. I thanked the man and headed out with my peanuts. I like this Circle K. I'm glad that I finally paid it a visit. I'll be back. (186)

My go-to location that has hot drinks is in Scarborough by Malvern Town Centre. However, I did a search and found this location that is just south of ZeeV's Nutrition Studio, which I frequent regularly. Perfect! This Circle K is located in a large plaza. Shoppers Drug Mart and KFC anchor it. I backed into a spot and walked over. I found the hot beverage machine. The man behind the counter was extremely attentive. "Are you redeeming a coupon?" he asked me. "Yes," I replied in front of the machine. "Let's scan it first. Sometimes, it doesn't work," he added. I headed to the counter. He scanned my digital coupon. It worked! I got a hot chocolate. He watched me fill my small cup up with chocolately goodness that smelled divine. l didn't spill. I was looking for a lid. He let me know where it was. I thanked him. Some may feel that this guy monitoring my moves was borderline creepy. Frankly, he was extremely helpful that I didn't mind it. I went to look at the cold beverages. I found A&W diet root beer. I got two bottles of it. I paid for my drinks with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I wished him a good evening and headed out with my goodies. The hot chocolate was delicious. I have a weakness for hot chocolate. Luckily, I don't have it regularly. The small size hit the spot. I love root beer The fact that they were A&W and diet made my day. I loved it. I had a great experience. I look forward to returning when I'm in the area again. (135)

One of the prizes includes free or $1 coffee, but can be redeemed for a tea, specialty coffee or hot chocolate. Many of the Circle K locations have Tim Hortons built within them. This location is a free standing convenience store, which has a coffee machine available. The staffer was friendly and asked us to scan our barcode before redeeming our free beverage. My nephew was with us, so he opted for the hot chocolate. It's pretty standard machine hot water-based hot chocolate but you could add creamer or milk if you wanted to make the drink creamier and less sweet. I also discovered that they carry Circle K branded spicy dill rippled chips, which is something I haven't seen at the other Circle K locations that I frequent. This store seems to be pretty well stocked and offers some refrigerated food options, unlike some of the gas station affiliated locations.
