Dr. Stanley preformed the procedure. The wire that was used to attach the chain was attached so it was poking him in the gums, which was very painful until we went to our orthodontist and he fixed the issue. The surgery sight also became infected and Dr. Stanley insisted it was not, but he prescribed antibiotics "just to make us happy". We had two other doctors confirm that it indeed did appear to be infected. Dr. Stanley suggested that since we were having so many issues (the wire poking my son in the gums and the infection) we just remove the bracket and he would then implant an artificial tooth. We did not go with his suggestion and will never return.

We had a consult in the summer of 2017 for my step son, he had a crown earlier that year so majority of his dental coverage (1500 year max) had been used. So we decided to wait until 2018 to do the surgery. I called our insurance several times in 2017 and found out that both medical and dental would cover wisdom teeth removal. For fully impacted bony tooth removal it should be filed under medical first then any remainder would go under dental. When we were in for our consult the estimations done were under dental coverage. His surgery was done January 3, 2018, I specifically told the billing department that they needed to bill under medical first. They argued first with my husband who was at the office, and then myself on the phone and said that was not the usual protocol. 2 weeks after surgery the bill was sent through our dental insurance not medical. I called our insurance company to ask it to be moved to medical first. They did do this for me, even though that was not their job. I also noticed the total billed to insurance did not match the total bill copy I had received from the Institute's office. It was $215 more on the bill from the office than to insurance. A few weeks later I called to check on the status and was told we would owe 215$ and take it out of the 822$ initial payment the Institute had my husband pay on the day of surgery. I inquired where this extra 215 charge came from. They had initially forgotten to bill insurance for the second part of anesthesia. I then told them to rebill insurance for this amount to the medical side. They again did this incorrectly and billed through dental. Several phone calls later the Institute refused to bill medical , I called insurance to see if they could fix the dental office's error. I was finally able to get it processed that way. Finally the first week of May we were refunded our 822$ from the dental office. I was BEYOND disappointed and disgusted with the lack of assistance from this dental office. They bill insurance daily they should definitely know when coverage should fall under medical vs dental. Also extremely unprofessional to just forget to bill for part of the service and then hold our money almost 5 months because of their screw up. The surgery aspect of the services was done well, but for all the headache of billing, I would not recommend this office.

A majority of the time when I go to the spa where I live they are running behind by 10-15 minutes, but they were ready for me a few minutes early. I had gotten a micro-peel and it was done by McKenzie. For anyone who has not gotten a dermaplane before it can actually be quite unnerving, because it is an extremely sharp blade that they move across your face. I really was not nervous at all, though, because McKenzie knew exactly what she was doing and described the process when I asked, as well. I actually felt relaxed, which isn't typical of my visits that involve peels or dermaplanes, because I am not great with people touching my face let alone applying sharp objects or peels to. She really did a great job at making me feel comfortable and pampered. Immediately after, I could tell my skin looked clearer and extremely smooth, and in the days following it looked significantly tighter and brighter. Anytime I come home to visit family/friends I will definitely be seeing if they have any openings for me!

Very disappointed with my experience at Pure Skin. I have been a customer for some years now, but…read moreit has gone downhill since they were sold to a company called Princeton MedSpa Partners over a year ago, so not locally ran anymore. The staff is friendly upfront, but communication was poor, and the results did not match what was promised. Even more concerning, Dr. John Botsford, who owns the practice was dishonest and quick to blame the me as the patient instead of taking responsibility. The last straw was when he messed up and accidentally fried my skin causing blotches and worsened my melasma. He has lost his touch and shouldn't be near laser medical equipment. They also had some turnover with some new staff who messed up on injection placement. For the prices charged, I expected far better professionalism and accountability. I would not return or recommend this place.
