They have closed down permanently according to Google but I wonder why? My teen went there in middle school for test prep.

I enrolled in the 3-month "Hyperlearning" 3.5hr/3x-week LSAT course in Lincoln Park... fun, fun,…read morefun. Well, I'm 2 months in now and to my surprise... it actually kind of is. TPR obviously realizes that studying for and taking graduate entry exams is a lengthy and otherwise sucky process, so they don't add insult to injury by making the sign-up process a pain, too. I went online, found a host of courses that fit my schedule and was done in less than 10 minutes. Continuing with this trend, the classes aren't bad either! Class sizes are pretty small, ~15 people in mine, and I lucked out with a funny instructor who's both knowledgeable and a real person, a mix I haven't often found in standardized test teachers. They equip you with lots of comprehensive materials (4 books and complete explanations online) included in the class fee. Add that to being right off the Brown Line and seeing a significant increase in my practice scores, and I'd say this class earns itself a 180.

My experience (which I recognize doesn't even come close to everything that TPR does) has been overwhelmingly positive. I like that they find a way to make standardized tests (the most boring things EVER) somewhat interesting... maybe even fun at times. I think my standardized-test-taking days are over, so technically speaking I won't return. But if for some reason I was forced to take another mind-numbing standardized exam, I would first turn to The Princeton Review for strategies.
