Wow, what a find! We happened to park along the Quay on our way to Waterford Crystal and saw this shop, making sure to return later that day. So glad we did! The shop has all sorts of locally made items, tastefully curated. From baby toys, home decor, gifts for friends, and gorgeously woven blankets, there is something for everyone.
But let's not forget the star of the show, Bebhinn! Her designs are awesome, made to order from locally made Irish linen. I have my sights set on a beautiful dress that was made from an iridescent-ish linen--WOW. Bebhinn also makes beautiful knitwear. In fact, when we were in the store, she was working on a piece on the sewing machine. That said, she still kindly took time to answer questions we had about items, other local store suggestions, and her products (yes they do ship to the US!).
This was a highlight on our three-week trip to Ireland. All the gifts I got from here receive compliments, including a hip new coaster set from a local maker. A must see when in Waterford. read more
