ZERO STARS ! I had a horrific experience at BeBe nails & spa. during a waxing service - specify my eyebrows. The technician was extremely careless and allowed hot wax / harsh chemicals to directly burn my eye lids resulting in chemical/thermal burns to my eyelids .Immediately after the service, I experienced severe pain, redness, blurred vision, tearing redness and oozing this morning. This is an unacceptable lack of safety protocols, hygiene, and professional training. Getting a cosmetic service should never result in a medical emergency. Not to Mention how management responded, When I brought this to the manager's attention, they were dismissive and refused to take responsibility. Once I advised them I was turning them in to BBB they all the sudden started texting me " Don't turn us in it will hurt my business" I asked what the temp of the wax and the brand used he was unable to tell me all I got was " low, Med, high on the settings "Maybe she had it up to high." that is not what I had asked him. the only thing he was worried about is if I was turning the business in. Went in and asked for manicure. Sat me with employee that did not speak English. He used gel on my nails and I had only asked for manicure. Head honcho asked me again if I wanted manicure I said yes. Then the tech gave me gel. When leaving hh said I asked for gel I said no. Then he said you picked gel color. I said No your non English speaking employee gave me gel nail colors. I had to pay more for something I didn't want. My nails cracked and split. Never go to this shop again. When i paid for my nails that i didnt want non English-speaking he got really happy and i said you get no TIP. HH said i said yes to gel. Just wanting to make more money. If I could leave zero stars I would!! Wanted to cry literally... but I just couldn't bring myself to tell them that I didn't like it. The man fixed one thumb nail bc it had a huge bubble. $125 I would never and my own nails were long except two which I got tips for. My toes are not great either. Wish I read reviews! The absolute WORST SERVICE I have EVER received! I was uncomfortable from start to finish. The older man did my pedi for me and from start to finish he was rude. None of the tools were used to clip or file my nails. Instead it was as though he was going thru the motions but not actually doing the act. He touched every toe with both tools. But didn't actually use them if that makes sense. At the end he told me to "Put my shoes on and get out" That's how it ended. I was so upset I didn't even look at my toes until I got to the car and this is what they were. One of the nails polish completely popped off when I touched it. I went back in to be screamed at and told to let someone else fix it. Luckily the young lady there came and intervened in on the conversation and spoke to me like I was an actual human being. I WILL NEVER return here. I have never felt so small by someone whom I was paying to perform a service! Not to mention he changed me $10 more for the exact same pedi as my friend who went with me. I walked in on a Sunday before Christmas and there wasn't many people in there. They had me sign in and the communication was limited. John ended up being my tech and I absolutely loved him!! He was so nice and very accommodating. It felt a little rushed but the nails are beautiful regardless. I wanted him to do a twist on a design I loved, snow flakes instead of the daisies pictured and he absolutely killed it!! He was nervous at first because they're such a small design but he did great and they turned out so cute. He did an amazing job and I 10/10 recommend him! read more

I have tried to give this place a shot on more than one occasion. I feel extremely rushed and anxious when I come in for a pedicure. They are hasty in service EVERY time. I have had my toe cuticles cut, polish poorly removed from previous pedicures...I just can't get over it in here. Even the massage after the toe work is terrible. It's like the roughest, most unpleasant massage you've ever had. My husband and I joke that it's like they're giving your legs a hand job. Not many salons are open on Sunday, so my friend and I thought we would give Bebe a try. I made an appointment a few days before for pedicures, but when we got there they acted surprised when I said I made an appointment. Then, we sat for 30min in the chair before anyone helped us. When someone finally came over, they put 2 inches of water in the bowel then left to help someone else. Over and over they would come do 1 thing then leave to help someone else. We paid for the deluxe and got no massage, my friend didn't even get lotioned! We were there for 3 hours and all we got was a nail cut, paraffin, and polish. i typically don't leave ratings. but this place is horrible. i wish i could do zero stars. i have not had one good experience there. the other day i went to remove my acrylics thinking, how could they mess this up?? well the women literally just ripped the acrylic off. i went one time and said i want french tips. with red tips instead of white. and she said ok. the tips ended up being white. i pointed it out. she said it's too late to make changes now. don't go here. it's not worth it. i dont know one person that has a good experience. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I went for a full set french tip. He put white tips on that were over 3/4 of my nail. Never put a drop of paint on them. Put a top coat only. Never asked if I liked what he was doing or even informed me that he wouldn't paint my nails. It was pure laziness. I called back the next day hoping to talk to someone else and see if they could fix them. Someone else answered, I began telling them, and he interrupted and started arguing with me, then hung up. I decided to try this salon because of the convenience of the location being close to my house. This was hands down my best salon experience. I got a full set of gel nails and they really took their time. I didn't even notice the few mistakes but they did and fixed it even though it was at the end of the service! My nails came out perfect. I told them I liked shorter and somewhat natural pink. They picked out the perfect color/shape. I also got a pedicure and everything from the massage chair, leg massage, water temp, and final result was absolutely top notch. I will never go to another salon in Evansville. read more

Honestly had the worst experience here. The water was cold, he used the wrong products or used the products wrong. I got the feeling that he was actually trying to hurt me. He jammed my toe into the UV light at least three times. I will NEVER be back here. It made sense as to why I was only the second customer in there that morning. read more

My experience was much better today than it was 11 months ago. The nail tech was kind and pleasant. He exfoliated my legs with the scrub for a good amount of time. He made sure the massage chair was on and I was comfortable. I liked how the color turned out on my toes and he painted them neatly. After he was finished he turned my massage chair back on and told me to relax while my toes dried. I also noticed two signs posted on the built-in cabinets "Regular pedicure minimum 25 minutes" so they are aware of what used to be an area of improvement for them, have taken action, and fixed it. My pedicure was around 30-35 minutes. I'm glad I gave this shop another chance. read more

I've had Kenny and Lily do my mani/pedis for MANY years. They are kind, patient and take the time to do the best possible job. Not sure why the reviews are low for this place but ask for Kenny or lily - they will take care of you. They are the BEST. read more

My mom received a gift card for this nail salon in June for her birthday and they wouldn't honor it in December of the same year. There is a federal law that deems it as illegal for a gift card to expire before 5 years and she has barely had hers for 6 months. Absolutely terrible customer service and I highly do not recommend purchasing a gift card from here. read more

This place was the worst nail experience I've ever had in my entire life. My nail tech "mike" was the rudest and most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. He cut EVERY single corner he possibly could while doing my nails for dip and pedicure for a wedding I was in. He left my dip nails gritty because of skipping steps, avoided adding a tip on a Shorter nail to match the length of my other nails, argued with me when I did not want a gel pedicure and then proceeded to apply gel paint onto my toes without putting it under uv rays. THEN he argued with me telling my dip was not gritty and to wash my hands, then scoffed when it didn't go away after washing my hands and took the easy way off with application of a gel coat over my nails that is now peeling off my nails after 2 days.... HE THEN proceeded to watch me as he ran my credit card and tipped. AVOID this awful place at all costs if you want a even decent nail experience. You should know there's a problem when there's a printed sign on the wall that says "no refunds".... read more
