My family member had symptoms of COVID-19, so we went to this urgent care facility for help and…read moreadvice. We had a difficult experience which is why I'm leaving this review. My family member's reasons for visiting included a cough, wheezing, and shortness of breath--core symptoms of COVID. Despite this, they didn't test him for COVID and gave him a prescription of an inhaler (my family member has asthma) and antibiotics. My family member's symptoms worsened significantly overnight. We made an appointment for a COVID test at Walgreens and it turns out he was positive. As mentioned, my loved one has asthma, putting them at risk for complications of COVID. The doctor was aware of this as demonstrated by prescribing an inhaler. We followed up with this urgent care to ask them to prescribe Paxlovid--an oral antiviral pill that can be taken at home to reduce an at-risk patient's chance of being hospitalized. Asthma is a qualifying condition for Paxlovid, which must be taken within five days of symptom onset. Due to this facility's failure to provide prompt testing, we had one day left to get him the medication. Instead of helping us, a nurse told us that "there is no prescription for Covid; it's a virus and you need to rest at home." We had to explain what Paxlovid is, and inform her that the nearby Walgreens carried plenty of it. She was pretty hostile after that, and she got defensive, claiming that she could not prescribe Paxlovid "until" this family member was hospitalized. Paxlovid is meant to help ensure that COVID patients with underlying health conditions DO NOT become so sick that they need to be hospitalized. She also told us that when we originally visited, my loved one's symptoms didn't warrant a COVID test--apparently these practitioners don't associate a fever, cough, sore throat, and shortness of breath with COVID. Due to this clinic's inability to test my family member for COVID in a timely way, and because of their lack of knowledge about protocols re: prescribing Paxlovid and qualifying conditions like asthma, I've had to watch my loved one needlessly suffer a more severe and prolonged illness. In Montana, "negligence means that the healthcare provider's actions deviated from or fell below the applicable accepted standards of medical practice. When that negligence results in the patient sustaining injury, becoming ill, or illness worsening, then medical malpractice may have occurred." By going to this clinic for help, my family member ultimately suffered more. I'd recommend just getting a test from Walgreens and then seeing a doctor for Paxlovid if you have a qualifying condition (not at this clinic though). I'm only giving this place two stars instead of one because the women at the front desk were kind, and the negligence of the doctors & nurses isn't their fault.

My friend has been getting ketamine treatments for chronic pain at St. James Pain Center. Her last…read moreappointment was scheduled for November25. On the 24th she was notified the appointment was cancelled because the elevator was out of service. She is an otherwise healthy and active 28-year-old, perfectly capable of taking the stairs down to the clinic. She was not offered that option, and her reschedule is over 2 weeks farther away. Because the elevator wasn't working? That is just plain stupid and inexcusable. She, and all patients, deserve a much better level of concern and care. Part of the goal and efficacy of ketamine is dependent on a regular schedule to retrain the pain source. Now she will endure her pain for that additional time and lose part of the treatment advantage. How in good practice and patient concern did this happen? Someone forget their Hippocratic Oath? I have to exercise all my will power to refrain from becoming REALLY unprofessional with these comments!

No reason to admit her Dr. Coch? Your treatment or lack there of rather was negligent!!! Your lack of practice of the hippocratic oath, to do no harm was blatant!!! You did nothing but harm!!! And your bedside manner sucks!! You on top of being incompetent, are a jerk!!!

This place would have gotten a five star review, despite some issues. However, I went in on friday…read moreJuly 8th to get some records transferred and was given the forms, no problem. The woman at the front desk (maybe 30's, short dark hair) told me she would get them transferred within the week. I just called and there is no record of the request and nothing in the paperwork, despite the TWO forms I filled out. She lied to me, likely threw away the forms, and she deserves at the very least a writeup. My gallbladder is failing. I vomit constantly. I need surgery or I might have even bigger issues, and she did not feel it necessary to do what I asked to let me have potentially lifesaving surgery. I have an ORGAN that is FAILING. This is not a matter of medication info or something else a pharmacist can also help with or any other situation. This is quite literally life or death and I am unimpressed by the negligence.

He is the most unprofessional healthcare employee I've met. Brandon ignored privacy / HIPAA regulations. Once you get behind the door with him, he doesn't "ask" you to do things, he DEMANDS you do things. Never a "thank you", never a "please", ZERO bedside manner. He was so bad that I pulled out my iPHone and started recording his voice, although that was difficult because he spoke very little - only when he demanded an answer. He should be replaced immediately. On a much better note, the rest of the staff were 5-star experiences (reception and Dr. Chamberlain).
