Sibley Lake Campground is located in the Bighorn National Forest on Highway 14…read more This campground is "SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL" (here's lookin' at you, John Ellison), particularly for RV campers. It's so peaceful. The air is unimaginably crisp, cool, and clean. Evergreen trees blanket the land everywhere you turn. You just know wildlife is lurking nearby, but you can't see them for the trees. The campground itself is clean, well-maintained, and is overseen by a very nice and obliging husband-wife duo. PROS - electric sites only - vault toilets - picnic table with a lantern pole/hook - campfire rings with grill - drinking water faucets - firewood $5 per bundle at host site - trash collection CONS - open only from June to September - no RV water hookup - A little dusty driving on the caliche road and sites - Mobile phone coverage (at that point I had Verizon) is pretty much a no go here Of all the places our family visited this summer, this is the one I'd love to go back to first. Please remember to LNT (Leave No Trace). Pack it, pack it out. 2017 Yelp Challenge #111

The place was clean and the lady working was very friendly. She took the time to teach us how to throw axes and offered tips throughout our session. They were offering a deal while we visited which made the reasonable price even better. They have soft drinks for purchase but you are allowed to bring your own alcohol. Our receipt also gave us $1 off at the brewery across the street, which was awesome! Definitely give this place a try!

The staff are super friendly and happy to help the kiddos do fun stuff. I'm amazed that no one has fallen off of the zip line and broken their arm on to that hard wood step, but the kids seem to really listen to the guides and the guides pay excellent attention to the kids. There could be more to it, but why am I complaining, my two kids spent four hours there and loved it. I'm surprised there isn't more of a following for the climbing peeps in Wyoming or at least for them to have a bigger wall, it was fine for kids, but if this is all that is offered in Sheridan then maybe there isn't much of a need for climbers in this area. Loved and definitely will go back, thanks for the extra hours during the winter xmas break, saved me from some cranky moments. The couches are clutch and the plug in for battery support was rad. Thanks!
