Easy to find. Parking easy. In and out was not bad. Not a bad spot in place to watch a show. Will go again.

Chris Knight/ Shooter Jennings (Turnpike Troubadours) September 2nd, 2018 Concert venue of the Year: Beaver Dam Amphitheater (and it doesn't even have a proper Yelp page). Due to Evan Felker drama, this concert was doomed (much like any Turnpike Troubadours' concert these days). However, this venue didn't throw in the towel when the Turnpike Troubadours canceled and pulled off one of the greatest concert experiences. I love going to these small towns to attend concerts. You will think your GPS is lying to you when you arrive, but there is a concert venue to the right of the the man driving his John Deer tractor on Main Street. The seating was broken down into three sections: VIP, seats, and lawn. I can't sit very long in a seat, so I was pleasantly surprised to see we had pit access with our seat admission (otherwise, we'd have eventually moved to the lawn). We stood literally feet from Knight and Shooter; I was beyond thrilled. The seated section appeared to be first come, first serve which could be a problem for a sold out show. The process to get a beer is a little wonky. You have to purchase beer tickets in one line, then wait in another like for the beer. This could be a problem if the event was sold out. However, it wasn't an issue for us on this night. The girls selling the tickets knew our names by the end of the night. The sound was impeccable. There was a moment when Knight silenced the crowd with an acoustic performance of "Enough Rope" and you could hear crickets (or katydids) in the background. The people of this town are amazing. We were a bit rowdy, but they didn't mind. They shared their fireball with us in the parking lot and graciously let us be part of their community for one awesome night. I was shocked when the venue refunded my ticket a couple weeks after the show. There was no need. We plan on making a trip back next summer when the concert schedule is released.

NEVER AGAIN ... DAM IS ALL I GOT TO SAY. I graduated from high school with most of the people working the show and we are not allowed to dance in front of our table.
