We concur with the 1-star ratings for Beaver Creek Realty. We are not tenants of theirs, but own property next to one of their tenants and have experienced the same Unprofessional and Aggressive Tactics other reviewers report. Their current tenant made "requests" of us for help with tasks as she did not appear to be getting support from Beaver Creek Realty. We tried to oblige her, but her requests were never ending, and she was NOT our tenant! The tenant became negatively aggressive when we did not "comply," so we backed off and limited communication. She then complained to Beaver Creek Realty that the fence between the properties was "severely damaged" and posed an "immediate danger" to her and the home she was renting. Deb Riley called to threaten us with legal action claiming the fence was so severely damaged that it would fly apart in the next windstorm, damaging or destroying the rental home for which we "would be legally and financially responsible." When questioned, Deb admitted that she did not know where the alleged damaged part of fence was located. She refused our request to drive to the property to talk in person so we could examine the fence together claiming it was too far to drive. While still on the phone, we walked the length of the fence and found one slat that had come loose at the top nail. This was quickly repaired; Hardly a cataclysm waiting to happen and, in our opinion, not worth threatening us with legal action over.
