I live near Parkville but had never thought to look there for some reason. After visiting Tiffany at Aura Hair Studio this past week, I'm SO glad I decided to try this place. The studio is adorable and tastefully decorated. All the staff I came in contact with were very nice and helpful. My stylist, Tiffany, did a fantastic job and really listened to what I had to say and my needs and wants. She provided input and made suggestions along the way, which I greatly appreciated. She also explained why she suggested alternatives so I would understand why that may be a better option for me. We were definitely on the same page and as a result my cut and highlights turned out wonderfully. I also got to speak to the owner for a few moments as she introduced herself and gave me some of Tiffany's background and hair expertise. The pricing is fair and competitive with other salons I've been to and researched. For partial highlights & a cut, with wash and style included, it was $110. All of their prices are online so you can decide if it's within your budget or not beforehand. While I am frugal, $110 was definitely worth walking out of the salon feeling great and having exactly what I asked for. I'm so pleased with Tiffany and all of the staff at Aura Hair Studio!

Now I can say without hesitation.. if you're looking for an extremely talented hairstylist, this review is for you I travel to KC often so I finally needed to find a local stylist. Choosing Emily was honestly a shot in the dark after researching a lot of blonde specialists in the area, but I instantly connected with her vibe and her after photos, and even more so once meeting her in person! The salon itself is adorable. The music is 10/10, which immediately makes the whole experience feel fun & relaxed. When I asked for a "sandy/beige, not too bright or yellow blonde" (lol), she completely understood the assignment. The color turned out exactly how I envisioned it. The first time I went to her in September 2019, I was doing a complete color change. I was extremely nervous but I showed her a picture and she gave me exactly what I asked for.
